The estate dates back to 1880, once owned by Major Elton Lane, a World War I fighter pilot, and the colonial bungalow has been beautifully restored by Uga. It is accessible by helicopter or a scenic road journey, and surrounding tea estates stretch in every direction.
The bungalow has just six elegant suites, ranging from 400 to 800 square feet, each with a four-poster bed and a living area that opens onto the expansive lawn. The bathrooms are generous, with walk-in showers and double vanities, and the Lane and Pekoe Suites also offer freestanding claw-foot bathtubs. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, with cuisine that draws on the vibrant local flavours as well as high-level international dishes.
