Uga Halloowella, Sri Lanka

Uga Halloowella is tucked away in the quiet hills of Hatton, overlooking the Castlereagh Reservoir. The estate itself was established in 1880 and was once owned by Major Elton Lane, a World War I fighter pilot for the British Royal Air Force; the colonial bungalow has been recently restored to its former glory by Uga. The property is surrounded by tea estates and is accessible by either helicopter or scenic road journey.

Accommodation

The bungalow features six elegant suites, ranging in size from 400 - 800 square feet. Each offers a four-poster bed and a living area that opens onto the property's expansive lawn. The en-suite bathrooms feature walk-in showers and double vanities, with the Lane and Pekoe Suites also having freestanding claw-foot bathtubs.

Guests can enjoy the vibrant flavours of the local area as well as high-level international cuisine. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.
