This is a great resort. Victoria for 2 is a great peaceful place to go, superb rooms and service. We had a swim up room, well worth the money. We would have liked to see more choice in the restaurants.

8th time on Makunudu and it didn't disappoint. Staff, food etc excellent as always. Rooms on the sunset side are looking a bit tired, but kind of adds to the rustic ambiance which we love.

Wow everything and more you guys promised and delivered everything you promised will be booking again soon thank you ????

Fabulous service by Angelfish Travel from my first enquiry. They took my requirements and budget and found me a paradise holiday for my 50th birthday. Everything was well organised and any queries promptly answered.

Komandoo was fantastic with such friendly, welcoming staff and a quiet, beautiful resort.
The highlights for me were swimming with turtles and mantas - such a privilege.
My husband, who isn't really one for beach holidays, has already said he wants to go back.

What a wonderful trip! Our first time to the Maldives and absolutely fabulous. After discussing our likes and dislikes with Angelfish, this was the ideal place for us. Excellent service from beginning to end. Amazing staff, wonderful food. Super room, we loved the outside bathroom. Wonderful to be barefoot for several days. Did a couple snorkeling trips (new for us) which were just wonderful. Manta rays, dolphins, turtles and the range of fish, even on the resort reef, was just amazing. The resort is green and lush and we loved the turtle sanctuary. Nothing felt crowded or busy and it's great to be able to walk around the island. We are already thinking about our return. we are lucky, happy people

Thought it was a great resort with very good food, great snorkelling & well trained staff however
—we thought that the rock breakwaters made it less attractive (although we understand that they are probably necessary)
- very frustrating booking service for the restaurants on their app
- no visible reef conservation efforts
- rather brutalist architecture.

This was our fourth visit to Makunudu and would certainly consider returning.
It would have been even better if there had been music evening entertainment which would bring people together for dancing etc .
Overall a friendly, well run island with great staff . Perfect for a peaceful relaxing break .
