Client Testimonials
Amazing service once again from
Angelfish and your agents in the Maldives, we would only every book with you guys due to the excellent level of service and confidence we have in you and your agents.
The BA flights were great as direct however the service and comfort was not as good as with Emirates however the whole direct flight thing has its advantages.
The island was excellent and accommodation was of a very good standard.
I do think the service was not quite as good as we have experienced before and I am sceptical around the fact that we were all inclusive had an impact as we often had to ask for drinks in the restaurant.
Overall though we had an amazing holiday and would still return there.
Thanks again for everything we will be in touch soon for next year…
Second time at Lux South - which the whole family voted was the best of the three Maldives resorts we had been to. Staff are amazing and the food is very good and a lot of variety and choice. Its a large island so you never feel it is cramped and for some reason the beaches are always deserted!!! Would go back in a heartbeat :) As ever, big thank to Jo, Clare and team at Angelfish for making the organisation both pre and post the holiday seamless.
Coco Palm D K is a lovely resort and it was our second visit. Beautiful island, great food and very friendly staff. If you like a traditional Maldivian island with no news and no shoes then this is the one for you.
Moofushi was a truly wonderful and memorable holiday which lived up to all our expectations. As always, Angelfish guided us every step of the way and, Clare, we cannot thank you enough for helping us choose this little piece of paradise. We wondered with so many 5 star reviews if Moofushi can live up to all the hype. However it more than succeeds due in large part to its natural beauty, understated luxury, excellent all-inclusive package and super-tasty food offerings. However what sets it apart are their truly exceptional staff whose welcome, warmth, dedication and genuine passion to make the guest experience a memorable one sets Moofushi apart from any othjer resort/hotel we have visited. They are stars and Constance should be very proud to have staff working so diligently on their behalf. Finally, we would absolutely recommend Moofushi to any potential Angelfish client who desires a luxury break without the stuffiness that can sometimes accompany it.
Gili:
Love the room/ food/ people and island.
Snorkelling would be the only reason I would maybe consider an alternative.
Komandoo:
Very good value.
Relaxed feel.
Excellent snorkelling
Food good standard buffet
Water villas looking a little tired and could do with a refurbishment (mainly the bathroom)
COMO COCOA:We loved our stay at Como Cocoa. Highlights were the staff, who were so warm and friendly, the food, which was exceptional, and the room, which was stylish and very comfortable, if there had been an outdoor as well as an indoor shower it would have been perfect. The island itself is attractive, but being close to Male there is constant boat traffic passing by and a lot of local development going on which impacts the view from all of the rooms in some way. This bothered us for the first couple of days but the island is so chilled it stopped mattering. Windy weather made snorkelling less appealing but I enjoyed a couple of wonderful spa treatments instead. During our stay there were only 4/5 other rooms occupied. We didn't mind this at all as we value our peace and privacy and because it was quiet, we never felt the need to eat in our room. The dining room and bar are quite small, so if the resort had been full meal times may not have been such an enjoyable experience. Cocoa is expensive, but you get what you pay for. It manages to pull off an air of understated luxury without being at all stuffy. We scored desire to return as an 8 purely because of the location, but if you can overlook that and want to be a speedboat ride from Male it's a very lovely place to be and we would definitely be tempted to visit again as part of a two island trip.
REETHI FARU: A large, very lush island, we really liked the jungly feel of the interior. Room was spacious, bed comfy, air con the most efficient of the three resorts we visited. The food was really good in all the restaurants - we only used Vakaru for breakfast. There was always plenty of choice and everything was fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. We did find the breakfast tea and coffee service a bit hit and miss. This could have been because we're late breakfasters but we often had to ask for more coffee, or go and hunt down a waiter. Our favorite a la carte restaurant was Veggie & Vegan - food, staff, service and atmosphere here were all top notch, but it was good everywhere to be fair. Bed and breakfast worked well for us as we don't eat lunch every day and we never had any issues booking our preferred restaurant in the evening. We only did a little bit of snorkelling right outside our water villa but we saw plenty of fish. We thought Reethi Faru offered good value for money.
EMERALD FAARUFUSHI was just fabulous. Service was faultless across the resort. Food was superb everywhere and unusually for us, we enjoyed eating buffet style in Faru almost as much as the a la carte dining. We were so well looked after by the F&B teams - Fernando prepared a couple of lovely curries and some fabulous fish dinners for us. Nothing is too much trouble, they will prepare anything you want if what is on the menu doesn't take your fancy. The sommeliers were also great and recommended some lovely wines to accompany our meals. Although there are just over 80 rooms and they were at 85% capacity it never felt busy. Our room (120), was in a great location for the snorkelling jetty. The weather wasn't the best unfortunately but when we did manage to get out on the reef we were impressed with the variety of fish life and colourful, healthy coral. We loved the indoor and outdoor bathroom and garden, it was great to have two showers and two sinks and good to have the indoor area completely closed off instead of semi-open. Could do with a shaver socket, but otherwise pretty perfect. The pool was just lovely and kept spotlessly clean like everything else. Our room attendant Wayan was friendly and very patient with our late breakfasts and dinners. We felt completely relaxed the moment we arrived on the island and were sad to leave. Definitely an island we would love to return to if we can afford it, hopefully in better snorkelling weather.
Very disappointed to find out we were returning on the 8 hr flight in a Boeing 777 instead of the airbus 380.
Nowhere near the comfort as on our outbound journey. Hardly any drinks offered except with the meals. The plane was cramped and not much room.
I wouldn't go to the Maldives again unless I could pick my own flights and insist on a airbus 380.
Everything else was fantastic... the island was beautiful and the staff were very friendly.
Angelfish were extremely helpful and I'd give 10/10 for their correspondence and giving us a smooth journey
Milhaidoo was the best of all the islands in the Maldives we have visited, and the most memorable and fabulous holiday we have enjoyed in a while. Aside from being the most beautiful place the service was outstanding, warm, friendly, proactive and professional, we really could not fault anything about the island and if we can afford it definitely want to return.
Thank you to Angelfish for all your help on route
