Honestly, Ndlovu Safari Lodge was fab - April is the most attentive Guide possible eg making hot water bottles for all the guests who were getting cold on game drives and so informative.
The accommodation was fabulous.

Another fabulous holiday, our seventh booked through Angelfish travel.
We stayed in villa number five for four nights on the sheltered side of the beach, the villa was lovely, with a spacious garden and pool. We then stayed in a lagoon villa number 94 for four nights. On the lagoon we spotted reef sharks and lots of fish, one day, we spotted a turtle bobbing about near our villa. Staff here were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed on an all inclusive package and thought it was good value. Although, cocktails and drinks if you were to buy them here very reasonably priced at around $13 for cocktails. We enjoyed our complementary “Angelfish Cocktail”! We were also fortunate to be here when a poorly turtle that had been looked after by the Olive Ridley project on site, was released back home into the ocean. We would definitely return at some point.

Our 11th visit to Meedhupparu and we can honestly say it has improved year on year. The management and staff provided excellent service and many have become firm friends. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and if a problem arises is dealt with immediately. We can't wait to return.

Park Hyatt Hadahaa is a beautiful resort with easily the best house reef we have ever seen (this is our 10th visit to the Maldlves, and we mainly go for snorkelling). Our villa (beach villa with pool - number 26) was beautiful and in the perfect location on the sheltered side of the island with a lovely stretch of beach and easy access to the reef. The level of service is amazing, you're assigned someone who takes care of everything you need, and they're easily contacted via Whatsapp. The food is wonderful and the main dining area is just gorgeous. There are two bars, a large one near the main dining room and a much better (smaller, friendlier and way more causal) one known as the Dive bar on the Dusk jetty. The guy who runs the bar there, is just the best. For some reason it was almost always empty with only a couple of people there at peak time in the early evening. Suits us fine!

Our only complaint would be the astonishing cost of food, drinks and excursions outside of your meal plan. We were on Half board plus, which is fine.. but you need to pay for drinks and even a cup of coffee is around 13 dollars once you've included tax and automatic gratuity. We were asked if we wished to attend a beach BBQ.... 220 dollars each! Excursions are also way over-priced... literally hundreds of dollars for a few hours on a boat. We just couldnt afford to go on any of them, which was a real pitty. We stayed 12 nights and probably had a couple of drinks each every evening (maybe 2 beers and 2 cocktails in total) plus we had one guided intro into snorkelling on the house reef, that cost us around 1000 dollars at the end of the trip.

Having said that, it really is paradise. Way better than any other island we've been to and if you're into snorkelling you absolutely will not be disappointed. If money wasnt an issue, we'd return every year!

Marked the excursions lower, we only did the dolphin cruise, felt like the dolphins were being chased and boxed in by several small boats. Not sure about the welfare of the dolphins.
The islands was amazing and Liz delivered fish to my doorstep. We had a snorkelling lesson with Marina, which was great and helped build my confidence. Both my husband and I had massages which were amazing and the ladies delivering them were amazing.
The food on the islands was fantastic, we particularly liked Asiatique and the Beach Bar Grill. The food at all venues was the best I’ve eaten whilst on holiday.
The people were amazing kind, warm, friendly and knowledgeable.
I would definitely recommend this Island and would go back again. 5/5.

A really lovely resort in Maldives. Perfect if you value convenience and are happy to compromise on the 'middle-of-nowhere-feeling'. Really great staff and large nicely finished rooms. The food and the spa were both exceptional.
