Situated on the beautiful Bay of Tamarin with the majestic Le Morne mountain range as scenery, this small 90 room resort is perfect for couples and honeymooners. Sands is a hideaway for couples seeking tranquility, comfort and personalised service in an elegant setting.
There is an extensive array of water and land sports and nightly entertainment. All accommodation is with a seaview and the sunsets in this location are exquisite. The friendliness and customer service is of a very high standard and this resort is very good value for money.
Sands do not offer an All Inclusive package, and we hope that this remains so. There are plenty of AI alternatives in Mauritius.
Sands have recently introduced an excellent extension to their Half Board dine around package, which means guests are entitled to use the restaurants at their very swish sister resort, Maradiva Villas, by paying a supplement. A brilliant way to treat yourself in the luxurious surroundings of one of the island's finest resorts.

The suites are divided into Superior Suites on the upper floors with sea-facing balconies, Deluxe Suites on the ground floor with private terraces and garden access, and Beachfront Suites with direct access to the shoreline. The Exclusive Suite provides a more spacious, two-bedroom option with separate living and dining areas and multiple balconies. Across all categories, interiors follow a consistent design style with neutral tones and open-plan layouts, creating a comfortable and practical living space.
Additional options include private beach or gazebo dining and a dine-around programme at a nearby sister property.
