Mauritius Golf

Golf has been played in Mauritius since 1902 when the first golf club opened its doors to members of the British Royal Navy. The temperate climate and the opportunity to combine playing golf with time on the beach has resulted in Mauritius becoming a very popular all year round golf destination.

There are a number of 18-hole golf courses spread across the island, giving you plenty of choice to completely immerse yourself in this great sport against the spectacular backdrop of this beautiful Indian Ocean Island.

As Mauritius golf specialists, let us tailor-make a fabulous itinerary that explores the best of what the island has to offer.

Paradis Golf Course

Opened in 1997, the Paradis is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course located in the southwest tip of Mauritius. The fairways and greens wind their way along the shoreline surrounded by a wide variety of colourful flowers, palm and coconut trees and with the spectacular Le Morne mountain as its backdrop.

There is a clubhouse and bar, and for those who like to play their golf at a more leisurely pace, there is also a bar and facilities located at the 10th hole.

The Paradis also has its own golf academy where beginners and advanced players alike can improve and hone their skills with the help of the resident professional.
