Domaine de Grand Baie is a modern complex of 145 apartments and studios set right in the heart of Grand Baie village. We have visited ourselves and the setting is the great appeal: the village is on the doorstep, with its beaches, boutiques, waterfront restaurants and the famous Thursday market all within easy walking distance.
On site there are two restaurants, two bars, a spa and two swimming pools (one outside), along with a range of activities and high-end services. It suits independent travellers who want apartment-style space and self-catering flexibility with hotel-style facilities on hand, and it works particularly well for longer stays.
