Situated in the Rasdhoo Atoll, just 20 minutes from Male by seaplane, Veligandu is a long, thin island with lush natural beauty and bounded by clear lagoons offering reasonable snorkelling and diving. Contemporary style villas and a very nice bar & entertainment area on the large sandspit.
We look forward to re-visiting late this year or next, once the current refurbishment project is completed.

Veligandu Maldives Resort Island is characterized by a distinctive long sandbank, verdant foliage, and powdery white beaches, and a vibrant house reef. Spanning 600 meters in length and 150 meters in width, Veligandu covers approximately 22 acres (9 hectares) and is encircled by a picturesque lagoon.
