Cora Cora Maldives

After a change of ownership, Cora Cora Maldives, on Raa Maamigili, opened on October 1st 2021, positioned as a 4 star Deluxe, All Inclusive resort.

The Cora Cora team have completely rebranded and uplifted the resort, adding dining options, fresh, airy, modern villa interiors, upgraded the spa, kids club, fitness & dive centres, and strived for a laid back, beach club vibe.


Quality of dining is impressive at this level, and we particularly like the range of plant-based options on the restaurant menus. The 'Grab & Go' takeaway menu service from all outlets is a nice concept if you fancy eating in your villa or on the beach. We do think the resort would benefit from an additional beach bar, away from the Acquapazza Beach Club and pool, something guests have also mentioned and so perhaps this will be forthcoming. The island has an extensive history of inhabitation, with numerous archaeological features and museum-quality artefacts on display – ask the resident curator for a fascinating tour.

The dive centre team are very friendly and welcoming, so definitely pay them a visit. The house reef is easily accessible from the beach, but stretches away from the island, and for accessing the best areas we would recommend the guided snorkelling trips.

Overall a great package and highly recommended.
