Radisson Blu Resort Summary
Radisson Blu Resort Maldives is set on Huruelhi Island in South Ari Atoll, a 30-minute seaplane transfer from Male, or a 20-minute domestic flight to Maamigili followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride. With 128 beach and overwater villas all featuring private swimming pools, this is a solid, well-rounded choice for couples and families alike.
The accommodation spans one, two and three-bedroom configurations up to the Presidential Overwater Suite at 790 sqm. Every villa is modern with vaulted roofs, expansive outdoor decks, and bathrooms fitted with both shower and bathtub. Beach Villas sit on the shoreline from 215 sqm, while Overwater Pool Villas look out across the lagoon or towards the sunset.
For dining, there are three restaurants and three bars. Raha serves international buffet-style for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alifaan specialises in grilled Mediterranean dishes cooked over open flames. Kabuki brings Japanese cuisine prepared by specialist chefs. Crusoe's offers a Robinson Crusoe-inspired bar with two levels overlooking the beach, and Eats & Beats is a poolside spot for cabana lounging, sunset cocktails and pizza. The Lab provides an intimate wine cellar setting for private celebrations.
The overwater Blu Spa has six treatment rooms, two with spa baths and glass floors, offering a full menu of Asian and contemporary treatments alongside a beauty salon. There is a fitness centre, a yoga pavilion with complimentary daily classes, and a large freshwater swimming pool.
South Ari Atoll is well known for its marine life, and the resort is perfectly placed for year-round whale shark sightings, dolphin encounters and seasonal manta rays. The dive centre runs PADI certification courses, guided snorkelling trips, big game fishing, sunset cruises and a full range of watersports.
The Pirate Cove Kids Club keeps younger guests entertained daily from 9am to 6pm with island exploration, treasure hunts and marine discovery activities, and children under a certain age stay and dine free. There is also a tennis court, a multi-purpose court, a boutique shop, and the Cleo Event Hall for conferences or celebrations of up to 50 guests.
