Kurumba Facilities

As you arrive at Kurumba the impressive marble floored reception and lobby lies straight ahead. In this area you will also find the gift shop and departure lounge, set around shallow decorative pools. Everything at Kurumba has been built to the highest standard using first class materials. The new lighter shade of hardwood used for doors, window frames, patio chairs and sunloungers gives the resort a fresh sophisticated feel.

Just around from the reception area is the wonderful swimming pool which acts as the focal point of the resort. Close by are the 6 restaurants (soon to be 7 once the Arabic restaurant is completed) and the main bar with its huge deck over the water is impressive. The Rendezvous Lounge is available as an additional bar.

There is a great beach running all the way around the island, wide in some points but with little secluded spots here and there. It is possible to enjoy a pleasant walk the whole way around Kurumba. The coral wall built just inside the reef is rather unsightly but does help to keep the lagoon calm for swimming and watersports when the wind is strong.

The new Kurumba Spa managed by Aquum Spa offers all the massages and beauty treatments one could wish for. The spa also includes its own gym with personal trainer and has a superb Jacuzzi facility with sauna.

A Childrens Club managed by a professional team is available. The facility is air-conditioned with dedicated areas for sleeping, playing, and indoor/outdoor playgrounds.
