The Manta Resort

The Manta Resort is a small, all inclusive-only resort located on the beautiful island of Pemba. The resort is located at the northwestern tip of the island, 1.5 hours from the Pemba's domestic airport. The dive sites in the nearby Penba channel are characterised by clear, blue water dropoffs and shallow reefs, featuring an abundance of fish and other marine life.

The all inclusive includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, all drinks (including a wide selection of cocktails, wines and beers), use of snorkelling equipment and many other inclusions - ask us for more details!

Accommodation

All rooms and villas feature a blend of traditional Pemban decor and contemporary comfort. All have a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, and either a private garden or balcony. The Seafront Villas and Oceanview Villas also feature a private plunge pool.

The Underwater Room

The resort's famous Underwater Room is a three-level floating island situated 250m from the shoreline, reached by a 2-minute boat ride.

The main level consists of a cosy lounge area, a small kitchen with fully-stocked bar fridge, and a bathroom with toilet and shower, while the rooftop features a sunbed perfect either for daytime sunbathing or nighttime stargazing. At bedtime, enjoy the thrill of lying below the water's surface on a soft double bed, surrounded by almost 360 degrees of glass.
