Our Opinion of Breezes Beach Club
Located on the south east coast of Zanzibar, Breezes is a lovely resort with a beautiful sandy beach on one of the island's quieter stretches. The rooms are Zanzibari in style, comfortable and of a good size, and with no TVs they encourage a proper escape from it all.
The resort feels very relaxed and has a romantic, unhurried atmosphere that couples will love. Facilities are good for a property of its size, with a PADI 5-star dive centre, a spa drawing on Thai, Balinese and Indian therapists, and plenty of dining choice from beachfront grills to a whisky and cigar bar.

Breezes Beach Club & Spa is situated on the south east coast of Zanzibar, on a stretch of beach that Condé Nast Traveler named among the world's top 30 beaches. It is part of The Zanzibar Collection of resorts.
The resort has 74 rooms in three categories: Suites (upper floor with balconies), Deluxe Rooms (ground floor with terraces) and Garden Rooms (ground floor with front terraces). All rooms are air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, refrigerator, safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. There are no TVs in the rooms, and sea views cannot be guaranteed.
Facilities include the Water Club, offering snorkelling trips, kayaks, sailing and wind surfing, and a PADI 5-star dive centre with courses from beginner to advanced. The Frangipani Spa provides massages and beauty treatments with Thai, Balinese and Indian therapists, and there is a complimentary fitness centre and flood-lit tennis court.
Dining options include the Salama Dining Room (buffet breakfast, four-course table service dinner, theme buffet nights), Breakers Grill (beachfront lunches), Dhow Bar, Baraza Bar (whisky and cigars) and Chai Lounge (afternoon tea and cakes). Long trousers are required for gentlemen at dinner. Vegetarian meals are available upon request with prior notice (preferably at booking).

How do you get to Breezes Beach Club & Spa?
Breezes is reached via road transfer of just under an hour from Zanzibar International Airport; airport transfers and meet and greet service can be arranged through the resort. The airport has daily connections to a number of East African cities, as well as direct international flights to Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
