Located in the heart of Colombo and with views of the sea, this iconic landmark is one of the oldest hotels east of the Suez. Originally built in 1864, it has now been lovingly restored back to its former glory. The hotel offers a range of dining options, and facilities include a spa, fitness centre, museum, croquet lawn, library and the only salt water swimming pool in Colombo.

Sri Lanka’s iconic and historic Galle Face Hotel is situated in the heart of Colombo, along the seafront facing the famous Galle Face Green. Built in 1864, this elegant and award-winning hotel reflects the grandeur of a bygone era whilst offering all the modern comforts that today's travellers expect.
The Classic Wing is currently under restoration and refurbishment, however the Regency Wing is open and has 81 rooms including 12 suites. The hotel boasts a spa and a saltwater swimming pool, as well as a fully-equipped gym. There are restaurants and a bar on site.
Galle Face Hotel is a 15-minute drive from Odel Shopping Mall and just over 30km from the international airport at Colombo.

The Poolside Bar & Terrace: Casual dining in a relaxed outdoor environment, next to the swimming pool.
1864: A fine dining restaurant offering an elegant setting for a business lunch or formal evening dinner. Downstairs there is a private dining area and wine cellar.
In On The Green: Facing the Galle Face road, IOTG offers casual dining and dirnking in a pub atmosphere, with live music, sporting events on TV and a quiz night every Wednesday.
In-suite Dining: The Food and Beverage team can offer tailor-made in-room dining for couples, families and small groups alike.
