Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island
North Male AtollOur Opinion of Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island
Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island Summary
Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island is located in the North Malé Atoll, reached by either a 55-minute speedboat ride or 15-minute seaplane flight.
In contrast to many traditionally-styled resorts, Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island has replaced thatched villas with oversized penthouse residences built and decorated in a modern Mediterranean style.
The resort has an infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean, fringed with a sunken deck boasting oversized cushions for that indulgent comfort. The resort also includes another large pool at the beachclub, a billiard hut, as well as tennis and beach volleyball courts. For kids, there is a splash waterpark and indoor play area, as well as an outdoor cinema.
All non-motorised water sports are complimentary such as canoes, stand-up paddle boards, windsurfing equipment, pedal boats, snorkelling (mask and fins). Guest can also engage in various other activities at an additional cost including: waterskiing, jet-skiing, kite surfing, flyboarding, parasailing, PADI scuba diving courses and certifications, catamaran trips, customised excursions and private trips by speedboat, luxury yacht or dhoni.
The well-regarded Talise Spa, with its five overwater treatment rooms, offers access to wellness and relaxation with a range of therapeutic and re-energising treatments. The spa also contains a beauty salon, sauna and fitness centre.
