Our Opinion of Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi
Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts brings a distinct blend of Italian design and luxury hospitality to every property, and Ranfushi looks set to continue that. With ACPV Architects leading the design and a deliberately intimate scale of just 54 keys, this will be a very different proposition to the sprawling resorts elsewhere in the Maldives.
The inclusion of four destination restaurants (Il Ristorante - Niko Romito being a particular draw for food-focused travellers) and the signature Bvlgari Spa suggests a property built around considered experiences rather than sheer size. For anyone who knows the Bvlgari brand — from Milan to Bali to Dubai — the expectation will be for impeccable service, bold design, and a level of finish that justifies the premium.

Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi is set to open in 2027 as the 10th property in the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection. Located on Raa Atoll, the resort will span 20 hectares of pristine natural beauty, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and lush gardens.
Designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel — the Italian firm behind all Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts properties — the resort will comprise 54 keys: an exclusive Bvlgari Villa on its own private island, 33 beach villas with individual swimming pools, and 20 overwater villas.
Four dining experiences are planned: Il Ristorante - Niko Romito, Bao Li Xuan (Chinese fine dining), Hoseki (Japanese concept), and La Spiaggia. The resort will also feature The Bvlgari Bar, The Bvlgari Spa, a Bvlgari boutique and La Galleria.
