In our opinion not really worthy of 5 halos yet. Only just about bordering on 4 halos. However it was excellent value for the cost.
Nice island with big lagoons lots of beach areas. But lots of mosquitoes day and night! Overall worth a visit.
Wonderful holiday .Totally spoilt for three weeks
Everything ran like clockwork despite the family?s varied return dates.
The Prince Maurice was fabulous as usual and staff went out of their way to give us a wonderful stay. The babysitting service was superb, provided by the lovely Ruba, who I can?t recommend highly enough! My grandson loved her!
We will be back!
Some of the best snorkelling we have ever done. Superb array of fish and other marine life, sharks octopus and turtles were everyday sightings.
Food and kitchen staff were brilliant only one suggestion being if possible more variety of fresh fruit.
We stayed in deluxe beach villa 223 and our room attendant Ahmed was very good.
Would highly recommend Qatar Airways excellent flights and service
Just a fantastic place staff could not do enough
Thank you.
Had a lovely time, took the gamble with the new management as we have been to Khiaad before. Generally all changes for the better and development continuing. I hope they don't try too hard to over improve what they have, the island it lovely and with some finishing touches would be hard to beat. Diving with Ocean Dimensions was brilliant, great friendly staff, helped improve our diving.
Didn?t use the Spa or water activities. Love Baros, but the food and beverage prices are very expensive. Whilst the food is excellent, I do think that compared to other resorts, dining is over priced.
The service at Coco could be a bit slow. The room was nice, but the bath in the middle of the room was a bit odd. The AI option was good - the dining around menus were quite good but it was a shame that there wasn?t a discount offered if you wanted the non AI menu. Food was pretty good, but lots of fish which Jo doesn?t eat so her choices were limited unless we went to buffet.
Didn?t like the golf buggies - they zoomed around and spoiled the ambience. Whilst i appreciate that they are necessary for room service and luggage, it isn?t necessary to ferry lazy people around!
The resort is beautiful and the room was superb.
Check in was a long winded affair, which was a shame as I was desperate to shower and change out of my travelling clothes.
As I was on all inclusive I ate most of my meals in the main restaurant which had a different themed menu each night. The food was very similar to that at Reethi Beach as the same head chef is in charge.
Afternoon tea is served at the Dhiyavaru overwater restaurant, giving an opportunity to enjoy all inclusive drinks there each day between 4pm and 5:30pm.
There are several beach bars located around the island, two of which are open until 11pm. The main bar lacks atmosphere and is not very busy.
All the resort staff are very friendly and appear to be genuinely pleased to attend to my every need. They quickly became aware of my room number and what I preferred to drink.
There are mosquitoes present, so I recommend taking a repellent.
Another excellent holiday. Thank you Angelfish
