This is our forth time using Angelfish Travel for our travels to the Indian Ocean. As always, the service and recommendations of resorts for us to consider as per our requirements have been absolutely perfect in every way. This time, we returned back to Angsana Ihuru in the Maldives. It was lovely to be back, and the warm welcome we received from the staff on arrival. Our villa was lovely with all the amenities that we would need, it was always kept clean, towels changed, by our room attendant who did this most discreetly. The food did not disappoint, always a good selection, and we were looked after by the same waiter who remembered us from our previous stay! The snorkelling was excellent, seeing a wide selection of fish, octopus, reef sharks and turtles. We had a wonderful time returning to Ihuru.

Thank you for arranging yet another superb holiday for us. Your personal knowledge of the islands is invaluable and we have complete confidence in your recommendations. The combination of Outrigger and Coco Bodu Hithi was just perfect.

Drift Thelu Veliga is a beautiful resort and we are very grateful that you recommended it to us for our first experience of the Maldives. It is about as near to a desert island experience as I imagine you could get and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

We experiencied the two wonderful Maldavian islands of Mirihi and Drift Thelu Veliga and we this was all down to the brilliant advice and personal service of the Angelfish team.

We were very happy with this Island & resort. The rooms were light & modern which we liked. The food was excellent and we liked that the restaurant had a sea view. The excursion to snorkel with Manta Rays was an amazing experience.

Heritance Hotel: Fabulous hotel setting - charming staff. Only comment would be that the bathroom had a slight sewage smell - maybe as it was at one end of the hotel ?
Earls Regency: Great all round - good pool, nice room - all good.
Drift, Maldives: PERFECT !
The Wallawwa: Arrived in the dark and left in the dark but what we saw of it was excellent - would definitely return - nice ambiance.
Amaya Langdale: Pool was poor and the wine selection abyssmal - on our first night there was no white wine except one bottle and it was warm ! However, the spa was superb.

Hurawalhi was a fantastic island resort in all aspects, we had a fabulous time from start to end and were very sad to leave, couldn't recommend it enough, we stayed in room 108, a beech pool sun set villa, which was beautiful.

Food wise.... the main buffet restaurant is fantastic in every way, but being there for 2 weeks, we maybe became a little bored being in the same area for 3 meals a day. The food was excellent though, so much choice in every area, great sushi as well as live cooking stations and the best pasta and risotto dish?s finished off in a whole parmesan cheese!!, brilliant touch and great theatre.
As we were there 2 weeks, they kindly gave us a meal in the a la carte restaurant 1 evening which was lovely and a nice gesture. After speaking with Brad (the GM) at the GM cocktail party, he confirmed they are currently working on the menu in the a la carte restaurant so that this will be included in the "AI Option", with maybe some supplements for Lobster etc.

We did use the snack food menu in the bars and pool to mix it up a little, and can confirm it is fantastic food and is all included in the A.I, everything from salads, burgers, great pizza and IMHO the best tuna baguette on the planet! Oh and the Ruben Sandwich is rather tasty as well!

The team of bar guys lead by Lalith are truly superb at their jobs and look after your every need 24hrs a day, yep the main bar is open 24hrs a day. They just make the best cocktails, most of which are all included in the AI, so there is great value there as it?s all premium spirits.

We did do the 5.8 underwater restaurant at the early sitting 6.30, but we were actually down in there from about 5.50 till 9.30pm? we had a fabulous meal, better that we may be had expected, which was matched with a great wine flight?yes its expensive, but if you consider it is a live theatre production that unfolds in front of you, whilst you eat an amazing high class 7 course meal, my guess is it would cost more in many big cities around the world to go to the theatre and eat in such a stunning location.

My wife and I did a dozen dives with Hannah and her team at Providers which were superb, we had our own equipment, but everything there was all like new and it?s definitely the tidiest properly run dive shop we have come across in 125+ dives. We did 3 dives with the ride on scooters as well, something new to us which was just awesome, literally saw hundreds of sharks on those dives out in the channels, and so many turtles as well, overall probably our best diving holiday. The snorkelling was also great, yes there is some bleaching, but the house reef around the island is teaming with life, you will love it.

Brilliant holiday Christmas and New year celebrations were so well done.Staff as usual we cannot fault.Thank you Angelfish for another 👍 great holiday.

2nd visit to Maldives and experience just keeps on surprising us. Loved it and everything about the experience ...will be going back for sure.
