Another great holiday at Oblu Helengeli. The new Italian GM Luisa is full of ideas and is a fun lady. As repeaters we are treated very well.Free room upgrade and 7 special meals at Just Grill and a cookery lesson. We also went to Sangeli for lunch with Jorge Gm ,toured the rooms with him and were given a villa for the afternoon and champagne and chocs too.
Oblu hospitality is special as is the reef.

Just wanted to say thanks for arranging our holiday- it was wonderful. We were really well looked after and had some amazing experiences- swimming with a manta being the best! I was a bit worried that going back to Coco Palm might be a mistake as we had such a great time last time, but if anything we enjoyed it even more!
Angelfish were great. After trawling the Net looking at islands in the Maldives and getting totally confused, it was refreshing when a friend recommended Angelfish on the basis that they know the islands well and could give personal advice. I spoke on the phone and asked numerous questions, they got my budget and ideas of what I was after and boom - -perfect holiday booked within 24 hours! The BA plane was a pretty tired 777 and the entertainment system was also tired and flaky. My system didn't work but I was able to use the seat next to me. The food on the way out was good but poor on the way back. We were offered two hot meals both the same, chicken or pasta. I had the chicken twice and the last batch was like chewing on leather. Although we had a drink pre lunch and during lunch I would have liked a glass of wine with the last, evening, meal but it was not available. BA staff are always great and to get a straight through flight is worth the above issues! Coco Palm was like Heaven on Earth! We spent a week sea gazing. The seaplane was super exciting, quality was great and the staff were lovely. The All Incl. plan was handy as we didn't have to worry about money. The drinks on the plan did not include premium labels so if you like a particular gin, for example, you would have to pay more. There were a few cocktails and no problem with well known brands of soft drinks. The buffet restaurant was good, plenty on offer and lovely wait staff and chefs. We went to the Cornus restaurant once with a credit of $45 each. It was nice food but it was impossible to stick to the $90 for two and the total came to $130 which seemed a lot for two courses, plus we had to pay for the wine (a glass each) even though it was the same wine free in the buffet restaurant. The restaurant wasn't busy and we thought they would do better to drop the price a bit to get more people in. We would go back there, as any criticisms were minor compared to such a beautiful place.
Standards at Coco Palm remain high and we will definitely return.
What an amazing honeymoon!!!
Will 100% be using Angelfish in the future and our representative Clare was absolutely brilliant with us from start to finish. Having Clare's knowledge and advice meant we could travel with ease knowing we were very well looked after and it turned out to be that way.
Dubai was great and the hotel was perfect.
Reethi faru was out of this world!!!!
We look forward to booking in the future,

Beautiful resort. The staff were excellent.
The house reef was great with fantastic snorkelling. It is the best of any resort we have been to.
The rooms were excellent and everything was very clean.
The food was excellent with plenty of choice in the main buffet restaurant and they were very happy to accommodate any requests that anyone had.
The AI deal was not quite as generous as others we have had previously and anything not included was rather expensive.
A great & friendly island with good facilities and excellent food choices, located a convenient distance from the airport for quick transfer.
Another wonderful holiday in such special, unique surroundings. Qasr Al Sarab is special because of the staff and service they provide; and unique because of the awe-inspiring beauty of its location, surrounded by some of the softest sand and the highest sand dunes in the world.
Eastern Mangroves is predominantly a business hotel, but is fine for a few days. Its location, opposite the mangroves, provides a degree of tranquillity but it is a busy, bustling sort of place. Our Pool Suite was superb internally, except for the fact that the 'pool' was a square whirlpool design entirely surrounded by thick curtains, presumably to hide it from the public Corniche immediately below it. Also it faced due north, so there was no opportunity for sunbathing there. But overall, it was an interesting experience for 2 nights.
The island was spot-on "for us". We felt welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and easy going without being overly formal, this is not a "posh" or "5 star" island which was exactly the vibe that we wanted! The real "luxury" of this island is in its access to nature and overall atmosphere. It was great to discover that despite the obvious recent over development of the Maldives as a whole, there still exists a "real" Maldivian island gem!
Haven?t done desire to return because as you know I never really intend to return to any but felt putting a 1 would be unfair on the resort - lovely place really enjoyed it overall.
