3 Qatar flights good.
MLE to DOHA flight not too good. Old plane, poor crew. Timekeeping very bad.
Snorkelling variable visibility this year due to weather, currents etc.
Ihuru staff are excellent. One of the main reasons we return.

Angelfish are extremely professional and even during this very tough time with covid, lockdowns and date changes, everything was taken care of with absolute ease. I'm so glad that we had a team like Angelfish taking care of everything. Thank you Jo and team for doing such a great job. We look forward to booking our next hassle free holiday with you.

Beautiful island. Excellent house reef . We really liked the swimming pool and swim up bar.
Food very good although started to get repetitive towards the end of the week.
We thought the all inclusive was good value; and although initially annoying that a small number of cocktails were available we worked out you could get more cocktails by adding rum separately !

Staff at Lux could do with telling arrivals how various restaurants work and advise why booking in advance a good idea. The water sports guys were nice but pretty lazy and non communicative - whale shark was amazing but saw no turtles or mantas despite 20pax paying $$$ ++ etc. - vis poor and resort reef v disappointing- no direction or explanation by the water sports guys - you were thrown in and left to get on with it sadly.
Ending on pos / friendliest staff of any island we have travelled to and island has lots to offer families / will def be back!!!

Overall a great resort with good a la carte dining albeit geared towards a majority American market. Great wines.
One of the best reefs we have seen post 2016 bleaching. Corals are recovering well and a superb variety of fish.

Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and would highly recommend!
Already planning a return trip (to Dhuni Kolhu).
A couple of improvements could be made from front of house (some lack of communication and customer service skills) but all other staff were outstanding.
Food options were superb and varied.
One negative being smoking, especially near the restaurants which are open allowing smoke to blow in.

Excellent service by an excellent company

Firstly, we would like to thank Clare & the whole team at Angelfish for your invaluable help, support and advice throughout the choosing, booking and rescheduling of our honeymoon. Having your expertise and reassurance with immediate responses to all of our queries throughout the pandemic and current uncertain times has proved invaluable.
Secondly, Oblu Select at Sangeli as a resort – we had a truly wonderful time from arrival to departure which ticked all our boxes for our honeymoon. In particular, the all-inclusive Serenity Plan was excellent value for money. The variety and standard of food was superb, along with the personalised service which was of the highest standard.
Our Beach Villa location recommended by Clare was perfect. The villa itself being gorgeous & well-appointed inside, with the stunning external bathroom and vegetation outside providing privacy and intimacy.
The highlight of our trip however was the superb snorkelling which as novices we have now been introduced to … & it will be difficult to beat. There are 4 locations around the island all easily accessed from the beach or walkway with guided snorkelling being offered within the Serenity Plan.
With nearly 100% occupancy rate throughout our stay, the staff in all areas managed to remember us personally – even by name!
The only slight downside of our marvellous honeymoon was that the resort seems to very popular with families with very young children. There were also a large number of groups during our stay, which meant there was a slight lack of romance & tranquility in and around the resort. This may have been as a result of high occupancy levels with people moving holiday plans due to Covid, but we felt this is where the resort may be pitching themselves going forward.
Finally, we had a truly wonderful time. So much so that, all being well, we will return to the Maldives to celebrate our 60th birthdays in the not too distant future! And of course, we will come back to Angelfish & we have no hesitation in recommending you to others (in fact we already have!).
