Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and would highly recommend!
Already planning a return trip (to Dhuni Kolhu).
A couple of improvements could be made from front of house (some lack of communication and customer service skills) but all other staff were outstanding.
Food options were superb and varied.
One negative being smoking, especially near the restaurants which are open allowing smoke to blow in.

Excellent service by an excellent company

Firstly, we would like to thank Clare & the whole team at Angelfish for your invaluable help, support and advice throughout the choosing, booking and rescheduling of our honeymoon. Having your expertise and reassurance with immediate responses to all of our queries throughout the pandemic and current uncertain times has proved invaluable.
Secondly, Oblu Select at Sangeli as a resort – we had a truly wonderful time from arrival to departure which ticked all our boxes for our honeymoon. In particular, the all-inclusive Serenity Plan was excellent value for money. The variety and standard of food was superb, along with the personalised service which was of the highest standard.
Our Beach Villa location recommended by Clare was perfect. The villa itself being gorgeous & well-appointed inside, with the stunning external bathroom and vegetation outside providing privacy and intimacy.
The highlight of our trip however was the superb snorkelling which as novices we have now been introduced to … & it will be difficult to beat. There are 4 locations around the island all easily accessed from the beach or walkway with guided snorkelling being offered within the Serenity Plan.
With nearly 100% occupancy rate throughout our stay, the staff in all areas managed to remember us personally – even by name!
The only slight downside of our marvellous honeymoon was that the resort seems to very popular with families with very young children. There were also a large number of groups during our stay, which meant there was a slight lack of romance & tranquility in and around the resort. This may have been as a result of high occupancy levels with people moving holiday plans due to Covid, but we felt this is where the resort may be pitching themselves going forward.
Finally, we had a truly wonderful time. So much so that, all being well, we will return to the Maldives to celebrate our 60th birthdays in the not too distant future! And of course, we will come back to Angelfish & we have no hesitation in recommending you to others (in fact we already have!).

Another great trip despite some minor changes all due to covid.
Only on minor irritation. Another travel group/s being handled by a travel agent who was with them, somewhat spoiled the tranquillity on a few occasions. I would not wish to be at the Prince M when such a large group was present!

We have rated BA low as we had delays on the way home and they were really difficult to deal with in the airport. Nothing angelfish could have done to prevent this so this is in no way a reflection on angelfish. We had the most incredible honeymoon and were very well supported by angelfish especially during covid

The reason "Desire to Return" is low is because we tend not to go back . Also, with Faarufushi opening next year (with potentially better snorkelling) we might well give it a try.

We had the most amazing holiday. Everything was perfect and we wouldn't have changed anything. Looking forward to planning a return trip!

Thank you, Jo & the team, for organising the most amazing holiday. I know I had a ridiculous amount of questions prior to booking so well done for keeping so patient! Soneva Fushi was worth the wait and lived up to expectations. We snorkelled, lazed on the beach, relaxed in the spa, went diving, snorkelled with manta rays and slid multiple times down a slide into the sea! The kids absolutely loved The Den & this is the first holiday where they wanted to stay there all day as they didn't want to miss out on anything. The kids (and adults) loved the chocolate & ice cream rooms!
I loved the relaxed feel of the island and wearing no shoes for 10 days. Cycling around through the jungle felt like you were connecting to nature. The food was top-notch and we did the dining on the sandbank experience, had a Michelin star chef cook for us at Once Upon a Table, and were blown away by the Japanese food prepared right in front of us at So Hands On by Akiro. The whole Out of the Blue structure is unreal. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Only downside is how much it all costs!! But we decided YOLO and enjoyed it to the max.

Would love to have your suggestions on other islands we should consider for the future if we wanted to spend less, but still have that relaxed feel and great childcare.

P.s. there is a lot of construction work going on in the island at the moment... the outdoor cinema was closed, the spa is being rebuilt, as is the sunset bar, plus villas and staff housing. It wasn't an issue for us in terms of our stay, but they did initially put our friends in a villa right next to the sunset bar construction site so something to be aware of in case you have anyone else staying there soon. They said a lot of it should be completed by Christmas hopefully.
