The reason "Desire to Return" is low is because we tend not to go back . Also, with Faarufushi opening next year (with potentially better snorkelling) we might well give it a try.

Thank you, Jo & the team, for organising the most amazing holiday. I know I had a ridiculous amount of questions prior to booking so well done for keeping so patient! Soneva Fushi was worth the wait and lived up to expectations. We snorkelled, lazed on the beach, relaxed in the spa, went diving, snorkelled with manta rays and slid multiple times down a slide into the sea! The kids absolutely loved The Den & this is the first holiday where they wanted to stay there all day as they didn't want to miss out on anything. The kids (and adults) loved the chocolate & ice cream rooms!
I loved the relaxed feel of the island and wearing no shoes for 10 days. Cycling around through the jungle felt like you were connecting to nature. The food was top-notch and we did the dining on the sandbank experience, had a Michelin star chef cook for us at Once Upon a Table, and were blown away by the Japanese food prepared right in front of us at So Hands On by Akiro. The whole Out of the Blue structure is unreal. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Only downside is how much it all costs!! But we decided YOLO and enjoyed it to the max.

Would love to have your suggestions on other islands we should consider for the future if we wanted to spend less, but still have that relaxed feel and great childcare.

P.s. there is a lot of construction work going on in the island at the moment... the outdoor cinema was closed, the spa is being rebuilt, as is the sunset bar, plus villas and staff housing. It wasn't an issue for us in terms of our stay, but they did initially put our friends in a villa right next to the sunset bar construction site so something to be aware of in case you have anyone else staying there soon. They said a lot of it should be completed by Christmas hopefully.

Exceptional service anticipating our every need, friendly well-trained staff, outstanding beach and pool facilities and delicious though pricey food in two restaurants, make the Oberoi Al Zorah one of the finest resorts in the UAE, and we have visited 10!

- Beautiful island & beaches, lot of vegetation
- Sunset side is not good for snorkeling
- Excursion to swim with mantas not well organised
- Departure day missing info about flight times
- Lunch at departure day should be included
- Boat rides on snorkeling side should be limited due to safety of swimmers
- Overall GREAT holiday and experience with few things to be improved, therefore I write, happy to discuss further

Al Wadi was fantastic. So many improvements since the last time, amazing experience. Ritz Carlton have done a fantastic job with this place.

Oaks is old, really terrible service and we would never return.

It is very hard to find a hotel/resort where almost everything is perfect. The service, attention to detail, the quality and variety of food is absolutely fantastic. Every single member of staff without exception was amazing and doing their very best to make us feel as comfortable as possible. We loved the food in all three restaurants and I had a pleasure to eat every morning different Indian dish for breakfast prepared especially for me. I would like to thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay and I hope we will be able to repeat this next year.

A good value resort that was perfect for my need to sit out 3 weeks and do some work. The staff were lovely and always happy and willing to help. I enjoyed the morning yoga with Kumal and the spa treatments were very good. The breakfast buffet was good. Food at Lime was fine but not amazing, and I would have hoped the Indian food would have been better
