Fantastic place. Lovely holiday. Staff really helpful. Food was amazing in all the al le Carte menu. Great chefs and all their teams.

Fabulous all round. Staff attentive and helpful nothing too much trouble. Food amazing and great variety something for everyone. Resort has changed hands and the plans for a refurb will make the resort even more spectacular. The sandbank walk to the crab shack for lunch is a must. The beach at Finolhu is fab .Refurb is needed after only 3 years operating,
. The rooms, fittings jetty, etc are already looking tired , but this didn?t detract from our enjoyment. The resort closes May to June for a refit.

Vakarufushi - all great - would be even better if they had a sunset bar. Restaurant more formal than Makanudu

Makanudu - all great except AI package should let you takes your drinks away from the bar

Makunudu is still very good. The rooms have been upgraded but are certainly not luxurious and the termite problem in the villas remain but it is a wonderful place to relax and feel at peace. Sitting in a deckchair at the Sunset Bar with a cocktail is an experience hard to beat.
The company have recently introduced a policy of charging $40 for early check in. It?s the first thing you are confronted with when you arrive and is not a good first impression. Interestingly, it was mentioned by all guests at the ?Repeaters? cocktails event but vigorously defended by Alli. First impressions are important and it is a pity they are spoiling this by appearing to be a little money grabbing (and it?s the principle rather than the amount).

J A Manafaru - we thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Service was very friendly and professional but it lacked the exceptional personal touch that you get at Outrigger (but maybe Outrigger is exceptional and it is unrealistic to expect it anywhere else?). The food was fantastic- probably the best we have have experienced in the Maldives so far.

They were keen to demonstrate their green credentials and they bottle their own water therefore it was disappointing that you couldn?t get this in any of the restaurants and had to buy bottled water such as Evian. Somewhat undermines the concept and I hope they address this.

Overall we had a superb holiday and the contrast between the two resorts worked well for us. Thanks for all your hard work as usual.

We would like to express a big thank you to the Angelfish Travel for perfectly organising our luxurious honeymoon trip! Everything was amazing with extraordinary services that made us feel special. The hotels recommended, both in Maldives and Dubai, were the perfect fit for us. Both pre- and post-booking services were excellent and we feel grateful for the guidance and advices provided throughout.

Third trip to Maldives with Angelfish and as always an excellent service. Asked about whaleshark trip before we went and when we arrived we had been booked onto one even though we were not supposed to be able to pre book. Villamendoo good as if not better than the other two (Filetheyo and Oblu) - excellent snorkelling and a large but quiet family pool. Good gym, enjoyed the mini golf. Of the 3 I would most likely visit this island again. As always lovely staff,

We had another fantastic holiday on Makunudu .A very warm welcome. Fantastic Christmas and New year celebrations.

The only problem we had was a communication problem between guests and staff with regards Xmas eve and NYE. It was not obvious that the cocktails being served around the pool on both nights pre dinner were not all inclusive. We were happy to pay for them but the staff need to advertise the fact that they are not included in the all inclusive package. We had a great time, it?s a lovely island and room 220 is the best location. Thanks Angelfish.

An amazing resort in every aspect together with amazing staff that make you feel very honoured to be there. We will certainly return.
