We loved the resort and the food and snorkelling was very good. The food in the Reethi Grill was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and well-trained although slightly chaotic in the main restaurant. The sunrise side of the water villas had nicer views as you could see blue sea beyond the immediate dead coral surrounding the villas. Best beach villa location we felt was to the right of the Dhiyavaru restaurant as you looked at the island with the sea behind you. Considering there are 150 rooms and the hotel was almost full, you really weren’t aware of many people. Loved it!

Excellent customer service from angelfish. From start to finish it was faultless.
The resort was lovely and we had a really great time. The staff were wonderful. The natural beauty was quite damaged out to sea (I am not sure if this was from the development of the resort; as there were lots of bricks and building materials in the sea still and as a result of from damage to the overall ecosystem in the maldives. The coral was completely grey and very little sea life swam around our water villa as a consequence.
We wouldn’t return to the resort simply as we would want to experience somewhere different next time. thank you.

Stunningly beautiful island with discretely attentive service. The small number of guests meant we often felt we had the island to ourselves. The quality of the food exceeded expectations. Snorkeling on the house reef was fantastic, with huge numbers of fish, turtles and (tame) sharks. Angelfish were brilliant from start to finish. Would definitely recommend both Angelfish and Makunudu.

This was our fifth time on Makunudu and we are still in love with this little island. Unspoilt and beautiful. Thank you to Angel fish who consistently give us excellent service.

Heritance Aarah is a wonderful island with amazing natural beauty. The staff are fantastic, the food is delicious and the all inclusive package really is all inclusive.
The Dolphin cruise (we saw a pod of over 50 dolphins) and a Manta Ray Dive (if you're PADI certified) were highlights for us, however the whole experience was incredible.
I would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful island.

I have left "blanks" for areas we did use and therefore cannot comment.

Our main gripe is "we had to come home too soon"!

Clare at Angelfish has been fantastic. Due to covid and then me becoming pregnant, we had to make so many changes to our plans over the course of 2 years! But Clare was always very helpful, friendly and patient, talking us through our options and doing her best to find us the best holiday for our circumstances and budget. Thank you so much, we really had a wonderful babymoon - a very special holiday and one we will never forget.
