Constance Prince Maurice

Constance Prince Maurice is a luxury resort on the north-east coast of Mauritius, set across 60 hectares of private land with tropical gardens, secluded white-sand beaches, a calm lagoon and a natural fish reserve. Several villas and suites have direct beach access, while selected accommodation is positioned on stilts overlooking the fish reserve.

Accommodation

Junior Suites

Located in thatched-roof buildings with a maximum of eight suites, the Junior Suites feature a bedroom with a sitting area, bathroom with bathtub, separate shower and WC, and a furnished terrace or balcony.

There are 51 suites on the ground and first floors, offering either sea or tropical garden views, with eight having direct beach access. A further five Junior Suites are located on stilts overlooking the natural fish reserve. Interconnecting Junior Suites are available.

Family Suite

These suites comprise a main en-suite bedroom, separate sitting area and a children's room with bunk beds and its own bathroom. They are located on the ground or first floor and offer either sea views or views of the tropical gardens.

Villas

Individual thatched-roof villas, with nine offering direct beach access and a heated private pool. Three villas are positioned on stilts overlooking the natural fish reserve and do not have private pools. Villas include a separate living room with dining and seating areas, a bathroom with whirlpool bath and a separate guest shower/WC, in addition to the standard suite facilities.

Princely Villa

A secluded beachfront villa comprising two Junior Suites and one Villa with a private patio, totalling 350m². It features three separate terraces overlooking different parts of the ocean and lagoon, along with two heated private pools. The villa also includes living and dining areas, outdoor spaces and a kitchenette for service staff.

Restaurants & Bars

Constance Prince Maurice offers three restaurants featuring a range of cuisines and settings. L’Archipel is the main restaurant, located in the hotel’s main building overlooking the pool and beach, with partly open-air seating. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it serves à la carte dishes with Mauritian influences, alongside themed buffet dinners.

Le Barachois is a distinctive floating seafood restaurant set across five decks within the natural fish reserve and reached via a wooden pathway. Open for dinner, it overlooks the lagoon and surrounding mountains. Asian Restaurant, located by the Laguna Bar, serves sushi, sashimi, maki, dim sum and other Asian specialities at lunch and dinner.

There are also three bars, providing options throughout the day and into the evening. The Laguna Bar overlooks the pool and beach and serves cocktails, with a separate Juice Bar by the pool operating during the day. The Lotus Lounge Bar, next to L’Archipel, provides an intimate setting for pre- and post-dinner drinks, while the Barachois Floating Bar offers evening aperitifs and drinks within the natural fish reserve.

The resort's wine cellar, adjoining L'Archipel, features more than 25,000 bottles and 1,900 references from around the world. The cellar also has a dedicated tasting area for up to 10 guests, with cheese and delicatessen specialities available to accompany tastings.

Facilities & Activities

Land-based facilities and activities include two floodlit tennis courts, bicycles and a practice putting green. Tennis lessons and golf are available at an additional charge, while guests can also play at Constance Belle Mare Plage’s two 18-hole golf courses, the Legend and Links courses, located approximately five minutes away. A complimentary shuttle service operates between the two resorts.

Water activities include complimentary Hobie Cats, waterskiing, windsurfing, kayaks and pedalos. For an additional charge, guests can enjoy fly fishing, boat excursions, catamaran cruises, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, kitesurfing, guided stand-up paddle excursions, snorkelling and scuba diving.

The Constance Spa features treatment rooms, a heated pool, sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool and hairdressing facilities. Treatments include massages, facials and body treatments, while the fitness centre is open 24 hours.

The Coconut Tribe kids’ programme offers activities including outdoor adventures, creative learning, wellbeing and environmental themes. A swimming pool and indoor games are also available, while babysitting can be arranged at an additional charge.
