The team are consistently polished yet genuinely warm — a hallmark of the One&Only brand — and the overall atmosphere is relaxed, refined, and quietly confident.
We particularly enjoy La Pointe, the resort’s laid-back beachfront venue, which combines great food with a lively beach club feel — perfect for long, lazy lunches by the sea. The wider dining options are excellent, offering real variety and consistently high standards.
Guest rooms have been refreshed with a contemporary look, but the layout still reflects the resort’s classic design, which can feel a little traditional by today’s standards. In contrast, the Private Homes with Pools are entirely new — modern, spacious, and beautifully styled, ideal for families or groups seeking more privacy.
The Guerlain Spa is elegant and serene, offering a refined wellness experience in a peaceful garden setting. Overall, this is a superb choice for well-heeled families and discerning travellers looking for world-class service, outstanding dining, and a timeless sense of Mauritian hospitality.
