Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa Summary
Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa is an exclusive Maldives luxury resort, located on Dhonakulhi Island, North Maldives. The five star accommodation includes a range of Beach Villas and Suites, Family Villas with pools and Water Villas with pools.
Dhonakulhi is a large crescent-shaped island with a beach length of about 1.4 km on each side and a width of 500m. The crystal clear turquoise waters of the shallow waist-deep lagoon surrounding the island stretch as far as the eye can see. The Island is unique in its reef formation; the reef system it sits on has a natural channel splitting it in two distinct parts, forming a natural harbour for the marina; the first of its kind in the Maldives.
The island is a 50-minute domestic flight from the international airport at Male, followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride. Alternatively, a seaplane transfer is available which takes about 75 minutes.
In addition to coconut trees, banana trees and rubber-tree-like vegetation, the island is covered by uniquely rich tropical vegetation.
