The feel is genuinely private and unhurried, with elegant Zanzibari interiors, lovely beachfront bandas and excellent dining at The Plantation House. Reserved for guests aged 16 and over, it is a wonderful choice for couples wanting to escape completely.

The Palms Summary
The Palms is an exclusive collection of just seven villas set on the south east coast of Zanzibar, on a white sandy beach shaded by coconut palms. It is part of The Zanzibar Collection and is reserved for guests aged 16 and over.
Each villa is over 130 square metres, with a bedroom, living room, full en-suite bathroom, walk-in dressing room and a further room with its own en-suite bathroom, together with a large furnished terrace with ocean views. Interiors are in shades of coffee and cream, combining colonial grandeur with traditional Zanzibari design, and each villa has its own private plunge pool, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, safe and tea and coffee making facilities.
Facilities include a swimming pool, poolside and evening bars, and private beachfront bandas with day beds and carved sun loungers. Guests also have use of the facilities at neighbouring Breezes Beach Club & Spa, including a fitness centre, flood-lit tennis court, the Frangipani Spa, and watersports and diving at the Water Club and Rising Sun Dive Centre.
Dining takes place at The Plantation House, where a colonnaded terrace leads into a spice-inspired bar and an elegant dining room serving Zanzibari cuisine that blends local spices with the island's freshest produce. Stays are all-inclusive, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, house wine and beer, in-house spirits, afternoon tea and soft drinks. Long trousers are required for gentlemen at dinner.
