This was an excellent recommendation - a small island, with few villas. Food at dinners was limited though, and bar prices, especially after the addition of nearly 25% tax were unnecessarily high. We didn't want too many excursions, but they published a weekly schedule and did not stick to it. Excursions were only run when they had sufficient numbers, which on a small island was not often. And private trips were extortionate. At their prices, they could run some loss-making excursions with low numbers. Evening activities almost non-existent. But overall, the ambience was what we were seeking, and this was achieved. We would go back, but not for a while.

I cannot comment on the spa,diving or other water activities as I did not use them.All of the staff at the resort were polite,friendly and helpful at all times.They made our Ruby wedding anniversary a really special day with sparkling wine in our room, a celebration cake at dinner and our bed was 'decorated' with fresh flowers and 'Happy anniversary' banner. Our villa (number 35)was in a perfect situation on the beach.
I can't praise the staff at Angelfish enough for their knowledge of the resort, their professionalism,organisation and swift prompt replies to all my questions(no matter how trivial they seemed!)The postcard which was waiting for us on our return home was a lovely gesture - thank you.
We would have no hesitation in returning to Coco Palm or using Angelfish Travel.
Our holiday in Coco Palm was amazing!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable holiday on Drift. The only negatives were noisy generator/utility area behind our beach Villa (difficult because island is so small), so minor building works were also noisy and the local reef is a bit spartan.

The staff were lovely and we really thought it was a great holiday.

Angsana was, as always, brilliant.

So pleased we booked with Angel fish as one e mail to you sorted our problem.All the staff were there to please us, chef Jarminda was amazing,room boy(man) Soba just lovely.
We knew they had problems with the reef but there were still plenty of fish,hopefully they will finish clearing up the little bits of building material left around in a few places in the lagoon.
Not sure about the four poster bed type things by the bar or the unusual bar seating --could do with more conventional seating as most people don't want to be horizontal whilst having a drink even if they end up that way after a few cocktails!

This retreat was just perfect, although I do think the retreat could decide to be adults only (or kids over 11). We had to endure many meals with a family using an iPad (loudly) for their toddler and in such a small restaurant, every guest could hear this. Other than that, we had a thoroughly lovely time - the food was wonderful, drinks menu extensive, the staff just delightful and every aspect of our vacation was fabulous. Yes, the coral on the house reef is in bad shape, probably due to the tsunami and indiscriminate anchoring in the past and also being ravaged by Crown of Thorns, but there are areas where it is growing back. However, the variety of fish and other sea life is massive - much wider than we found on other reefs in the area. Please don't allow Drift to change much or get any bigger. It really would spoil what is a perfect little gem of an island. Those wanting entertainment, TVs and swimming pools can be spoilt for choice at other resorts.
