We had a fabulous time and this little gem was a great find, it felt very exclusive as it was so small, which we loved. The spa and fitness and meditation top rate.
Food also good and service excellent.
The only downsides were no cushion on huge daybed and not really feeling safe snorkelling on the drift reef as it was so difficult to access but we enjoyed the trips to other reefs that were provided so it wouldnt stop us going back.

Fantastic island. Thanks for the advice to go there. definitely the right choice for us with wonderful house reef and beach villa. expensive but worth it
This island is absolute paradise and our stay at outrigger has been fantastic from start to finish. All the staff are so friendly and want to please you. The family rooms with bunks are fabulous as it's the food and wine. All inclusive prosecco was truly the icing on the cake! We can't wait to return! Thank you!
The tour of Cambodia was fantastic albeit our guide's use of / knowledge of English meant I think I missed some of the history / information he was giving but he was efficient and friendly. Shinta Mani was fantastic hotel - lovely staff, great place. Villa Langka was "ok" - sorry can't be more enthusiastic than that. The air con leaked throughout our stay, and it felt a little like an upmarket youth hostel to me but we were out nearly all the time which is why I didn't chose somewhere nicer / more expensive in the first place so not wholly unexpected. Santiburi was also amazing but I wish in retrospect we'd stayed in the villas - I don't think I knew you could have adjoining villas but apparently there are some. our duplex room was very spacious and nice but not quite the "wow" of the villas I think. Also you can't use alot of the sunbeds on the beach unless you have a beachfront villa. Great holiday though - next time I would travel less - far too many planes (my fault through).
Desire to return is a 1 - why? because we have had the best possible experience the island can offer and if we went again we would be concerned that the experience may not be as good. We noted some rooms had a poor beach and sandbags , our room was fantastic and the beach amazing but had we been unfortunate to have a not so good room it would have spoilt our trip. Need to find a new island for our next trip please - somewhere equally amazing!
Paradise cove is a very relaxing hotel with excellent staff, food and service. Nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful hotel and value for money.
Emirates: seat drinks service erratic (eg drink offered up to 1 hour after food, none before. Seemed to be common on most of the flights
Makunudu: Loved the island - quiet, beautiful, low key. Rooms and public areas very high standard. Food lovely. Sunset bar cocktails only was annoying as couldn't have beer to watch sunset (had to take our own).
Diving centre v good, and relaxed with two instructors Antonio and Claudia. Snorkelling pretty good - large areas of reef but some a long way out. Lots to see incl large nurse sharks around jetty at night

We really enjoyed our stay at Kihaad. We have stayed at two other Maldivian islands and the resort's beaches are beautiful and by far the best of the islands we have been to. Although there is quite a lot of coral when getting in to the sea so would advise visitors to take swimming shoes. The food in the restaurant is delicious with tuna and steak grilled to order! The all inclusive drinks list is extensive with many cocktails to try! When we have previously been to the Maldives, we had turn down every night however, this was lacking at Kihaad although this is not a big issue.
Overall, a beautiful island with super food and drink. We are already hoping to go back!
