Paradise cove is a very relaxing hotel with excellent staff, food and service. Nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful hotel and value for money.
Emirates: seat drinks service erratic (eg drink offered up to 1 hour after food, none before. Seemed to be common on most of the flights
Makunudu: Loved the island - quiet, beautiful, low key. Rooms and public areas very high standard. Food lovely. Sunset bar cocktails only was annoying as couldn't have beer to watch sunset (had to take our own).
Diving centre v good, and relaxed with two instructors Antonio and Claudia. Snorkelling pretty good - large areas of reef but some a long way out. Lots to see incl large nurse sharks around jetty at night
Drinks v expensive
Had a super week here and could have stayed longer ....
Please keep this island a secret!
Maybe a little more evening entertainment would be nice but on the whole everything is spot on. Snorkelling on the outer reef from the bar/restaurant area was amazing, possibly the best I have come across in the Maldives (other than diving).
Can't fault the service from Angelfish. We had numerous questions before booking and the staff answered all with utmost patience. The staff at Drift were fabulous, a highlight of the trip, particularly bar and reception staff. The rooms were perfect, and the island beautiful. I had concerns regarding the snorkeling before arriving, and while there was obvious damage to the coral at Drift, from our experience, this was by no means isolated to the Drift reef, and I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of marine life in the lagoon and in the reef. Would highly recommend Drift for a laid back island getaway.
Our 4th visit to Angsana Ihuru was the best yet. A complimentary bottle of Moet and being recognised by staff rom 2014 made us feel special. Habeeb, Jihad and their team ensured that our stay was faultless and exceptional. We shall return!

Fantastic , exceeded our expectations , the diving was spectacular just as we had hoped it would be , thanks to Rasheed the dive master and the boat crew . Chef came to see us every evening for feedback , we had a wide variety of special meals ( BBQ , buffet , 5 course set menu and on our last night a specially prepared Maldivian curry which was amazing . Service 5 * . Thank you to all @ Drift and Angelfish , it was well worth the wait .
The island possibly has too many rooms now and there are not many open spaces, other than the main pathway through the island. From room 401 northwards to the lagoon villas there was no sea view and no beach, apart from broken coral. The staff are extremely keen to please and all are very friendly and attentive. However, the advertised Management Cocktail event in the bar didn't seem to materialise and we were not introduced to any of the management teams. It would have been great to meet the head chef and the kitchen staff as the food was amazing and the choice was excellent each day. It had been a nice touch at other resorts we have visited for guests to meet all the teams which are so important in the running of the island. We really enjoyed our holiday and were very appreciative of the fabulous service provided by Angelfish once again. Very many thanks.

Ramada Dubai was a bit of a mess, they had us booked in for one night which should have been two (for which we did receive a nice room upgrade), then they lost our luggage which we eventually found in a corner of the foyer. On day two our keys wouldnt work so had to mess about getting them changed (only programmed for one night !).
Desire to return is a 1 - why? because we have had the best possible experience the island can offer and if we went again we would be concerned that the experience may not be as good. We noted some rooms had a poor beach and sandbags , our room was fantastic and the beach amazing but had we been unfortunate to have a not so good room it would have spoilt our trip. Need to find a new island for our next trip please - somewhere equally amazing!
