The island possibly has too many rooms now and there are not many open spaces, other than the main pathway through the island. From room 401 northwards to the lagoon villas there was no sea view and no beach, apart from broken coral. The staff are extremely keen to please and all are very friendly and attentive. However, the advertised Management Cocktail event in the bar didn't seem to materialise and we were not introduced to any of the management teams. It would have been great to meet the head chef and the kitchen staff as the food was amazing and the choice was excellent each day. It had been a nice touch at other resorts we have visited for guests to meet all the teams which are so important in the running of the island. We really enjoyed our holiday and were very appreciative of the fabulous service provided by Angelfish once again. Very many thanks.

Ramada Dubai was a bit of a mess, they had us booked in for one night which should have been two (for which we did receive a nice room upgrade), then they lost our luggage which we eventually found in a corner of the foyer. On day two our keys wouldnt work so had to mess about getting them changed (only programmed for one night !).

This was an excellent recommendation - a small island, with few villas. Food at dinners was limited though, and bar prices, especially after the addition of nearly 25% tax were unnecessarily high. We didn't want too many excursions, but they published a weekly schedule and did not stick to it. Excursions were only run when they had sufficient numbers, which on a small island was not often. And private trips were extortionate. At their prices, they could run some loss-making excursions with low numbers. Evening activities almost non-existent. But overall, the ambience was what we were seeking, and this was achieved. We would go back, but not for a while.

I cannot comment on the spa,diving or other water activities as I did not use them.All of the staff at the resort were polite,friendly and helpful at all times.They made our Ruby wedding anniversary a really special day with sparkling wine in our room, a celebration cake at dinner and our bed was 'decorated' with fresh flowers and 'Happy anniversary' banner. Our villa (number 35)was in a perfect situation on the beach.
I can't praise the staff at Angelfish enough for their knowledge of the resort, their professionalism,organisation and swift prompt replies to all my questions(no matter how trivial they seemed!)The postcard which was waiting for us on our return home was a lovely gesture - thank you.
We would have no hesitation in returning to Coco Palm or using Angelfish Travel.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable holiday on Drift. The only negatives were noisy generator/utility area behind our beach Villa (difficult because island is so small), so minor building works were also noisy and the local reef is a bit spartan.

The staff were lovely and we really thought it was a great holiday.

Angsana was, as always, brilliant.
