Excellent accommodations both the beach and water villa . Faultless service. Not going all inclusive turned out to be the right option for us . Food very good but pricey as was the alcohol and spa but to be expected in the Maldives . Thanks for a memorable trip .

We all had a wonderful holiday. The hotel facilities gave us the opportunity to have quality time all together and then time for adults too. The children had a ball with the key DS club providing fantastic opportunities for trials of water skiing and scuba diving!! They lived it. There service at times was a little slow but that is the only criticism. Angelfish gave great advise to enable us to have a perfect holiday. We'll be in touch again soon! Thank you.

Lux* South Ari Atoll was just a dream. Exactly as you'd imagine and everything the postcards suggest. We were upgraded to a water villa for the final three nights and the rooms have had a very modern renovation. Absolutely stunningly beautiful exterior with a pool over the lagoon but we loved the charm of the more traditional Maldivian decor from the Beach Villa. Having our own pool more than made up for that and the water villa was definitely a much lighter and brighter experience. It was just a joy to wake up to the ocean every morning and we'd absolutely love to visit LUX* again - especially to see the outcome of their renovations which are just about to happen. We were also lucky enough to swim with the elusive whale shark which was definitely an experience of a lifetime!

We had a fabulous time in Sri Lanka though the amount of travel took us a little by surprise when it actually came to it. Definitely not a destination for relaxation. Sri Lanka is just beautiful and was made a more special experience by the company of our guide and driver - Fernando. The Paradise Tintagel was a highlight and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend for an overnight stop in Colombo. Of course, the elephant safari was beautiful.

As a whole experience with Angelfish, we just couldn't find a single fault. You were accommodating on every level even through frequent changes and always offered us knowledgable and helpful information and insight. We just can't wait for our next trip to the Maldives - which would only ever be through you. Thank you. Hattie & Alun.

Really pleased with first experience of Emirates, a first class airline.
Drift, a fabulous resort, with superb attention to detail in the bar, restaurant and rooms.
- Things which others have not commented but provided great appeal: the cutlery, china, glass wares were very elegant.
- The service from the staff was superb and compares very favourably with cruising on 5* lines.
- Support for me as a very nervous swimmer was fantastic. The crew assisted entry into the water and guides kept an eye on me at all times
- While every one talks about the death of the reef, the snorkelling around the island itself, proves that there is a huge amount of life. The reef is regenerating and will recover. We have seen all the common fish, including three species of shark and many more besides plus turtles and eagles rays. We even discovered several small fish/shrimp pairings which were very exciting. My husband enjoyed long discussions with Linn, the resident marine biologist about her work and his finds on the reef (he has a degree in marine biology) as well as linking in to the webcam on his tank back home courtesy of the island's wifi.
A few comments which are quite minor, irritating but did not spoil our delight in the holiday and in many cases have already been passed on to the resort:
- a few more hangers, would be appreciated
- a couple of hooks in the shower room for wet swim gear
- more spicy food - at least one option on each course for every menu
- cushions for remaining outside furniture - loungers very hard on rear ends (!) and day bed impossible!
- nails left proud on decking balustrade - rusty near water and possibility of cutting hand on exit/entry from water. Verandah not given the same attention to detail as interior of villa.
- whale shark expedition - 22 boats counted - number of swimmers in water more like a triathlon. Not really what we expected.
- plastic furniture - not as eco as one might expect from this sort of resort. While comfortable to sit in in bar area, surface also felt rough after skin bathed in sunshine.
Overall, a fabulous, first class holiday which we will remember for a very long time. We were extremely sad to leave and we want, very much, to return.

This is the 2nd time I have used Angelfish and again the service was fantastic. Clare helped me chose an Island that matched perfectly to the Diving and Snorkelling holiday I requested. I would always recommend Angelfish Travel to anyone looking for a getaway to the Indian Ocean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kihaad. We have stayed at two other Maldivian islands and the resort's beaches are beautiful and by far the best of the islands we have been to. Although there is quite a lot of coral when getting in to the sea so would advise visitors to take swimming shoes. The food in the restaurant is delicious with tuna and steak grilled to order! The all inclusive drinks list is extensive with many cocktails to try! When we have previously been to the Maldives, we had turn down every night however, this was lacking at Kihaad although this is not a big issue.
Overall, a beautiful island with super food and drink. We are already hoping to go back!

We had a fabulous time and this little gem was a great find, it felt very exclusive as it was so small, which we loved. The spa and fitness and meditation top rate.
Food also good and service excellent.
The only downsides were no cushion on huge daybed and not really feeling safe snorkelling on the drift reef as it was so difficult to access but we enjoyed the trips to other reefs that were provided so it wouldnt stop us going back.

Fantastic island. Thanks for the advice to go there. definitely the right choice for us with wonderful house reef and beach villa. expensive but worth it
