We would be happy to book with Angelfish again.

The holiday was as good as we expected and the service we received from Angelfish in my opinion was excellent. We in general wouldn't go to the same location again for this type holiday so have marked the desire to return down a bit and fro Coco Bodu Hithi this wasn;t the resort we booked so do not feel we can comment on value for money.

Clare advised me on Kihaad Maldives as it has its own house reef, all inclusive option a very short boat ride from Hanifaru bay where you can see Manta's. There was also a very good rate being offered which helped our decision. The service we received from both Clare at Angelfish, the team at Kihaad, special mention has to go to Suhan, Lal and all the catering team! everything was excellent. We went on a Manta snorkelling excursion and also the sunset fishing trip, both were great the only thing to remember is everything is plus 10% service plus 12.5% tourist tax which can add up. We also took our own snorkelling equipment as to buy or rent on the island is rather expensive. All in all we had a fantastic time and would go back in a heartbeat.

To anyone looking to go on a holiday to the Maldives I couldn't recommend highly enough the value of booking through Angelfish Travel. Their knowledge and advise during the booking process was invaluable and they give very much a personalised service of understanding what you are looking for before recommending a resort. We then had the situation of my partner having a collapsed lung just three weeks before we were due to leave which of course made her unable to fly. All the staff at Angelfish were just amazing through this difficult time and were able, because of their relationships that they have with the islands that they deal with, to get our holiday deferred for a nine month period until my partner was able to travel. This resulted in us having the amazing holiday that we had paid for instead of us losing it. We shall definitely be going back to the Maldives soon and shall of course be booking through Anglefish Travel as they like the resort we stayed at couldn't do enough to make sure that you feel the full five star experience.

The resort was fantastic as before and no criticisms. All our requests were noted and we were spoilt for our birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Just one point to note we feel the resort needs to be clearer as to the extras available when you reside at the water residences as the staff did not seem to know what the extra privileges were and those we were informed of did not compare to the list we had seen at all prior to our trip.

Snorkelling and diving from resort fabulous. Great variety and quality of food. Room very clean and well maintained. Not all restaurant staff so friendly (apart from the day on which we were leaving)! Absolutely don't want staff to "fawn", but a pleasant smile would be welcome. Mosquitoes around chalet quite a problem (resort website FAQs stated no problem) and living in SE Asia we are obviously used to living with mosquitoes. Option for softer pillows on beds would be a suggestion.

Anantara was a wonderful resort and we will return. I marked them down on food because I am still suffering from mild illness (i know can happen anywhere) and some items were a little pricey. I do reiterate though that this was a fantastic place.

From the minute I spoke with Clare Hilson I knew we would be booking our holiday with Angelfish. Clare was knowledgeable and so helpful in answering any questions I had (and I had quite a few in the months leading up to our holiday) but she was patient and considerate to our needs. Coco Bodu Hithi is a truly beautiful island and our Escape Water Villa (515) was in the perfect location to enjoy snorkelling (a must) and swimming. The EWV was spacious and well equipped, albeit a little tired looking. The staff were all charming and very eager to help us enjoy our stay. The food at Air Restaurant was delicious and plentiful and a wide selection to choose from, changing their theme each evening. We used Air quite a few times and the staff there were simply great, but treat yourself to a tasting menu at Stars Restaurant - you cant go wrong. We made use of the gym facility most days and took daily yoga classes which were well worth doing. They have recently acquired a new yoga instructor who was really good. I would highly recommend the island, the only reason I have given it a 9 for the desire to return is that as there are so many islands to choose from we may have to give another island a try out first but I think we will be revisiting CBH at some point in the future.

We had an amazing holiday we could not have asked for more it was everything that we wanted and surpassed my expectations we are now saving to go back ;-) thanks for all your help in finding us the perfect way to celebrate my 40 th ;-)
