Sigh....We loved Constance Halaveli. The staff were attentive, friendly and knew instinctively how to best look after you. The food was great and Jing Restaurant truly spectacular. We were also really impressed with the wine list and the sommelier team who were really knowledgeable. The boys loved the Kids Club, the activities were varied and engaging (and included lots of water sports which was a real bonus) and the staff very caring. The diving centre was amazing and the staff so patient with me as a beginner. I really valued their encouragement in getting my open water certification. Even though you could see plenty of sharks from the jetty, the snorkelling wasn't one of the highlights for us - maybe it was the time of year. We really enjoyed a hit with the tennis coach as well. The spa was divine but with so much going on we didn't spend as much time there as we would have liked. There really was something for everyone and we would love to go back!

Amazing holiday of a lifetime, everything at Hurawalhi exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Thank you for all your help Angelfish. This was booked before Covid and Clare was so helpful with the constant booking changes and delays, you will always be my first choice next time I go to the Maldives.

It's a pain that basic Mini-Bar items are not included and you need to go to the bar for a diet coke etc
Decking of rooms needs a little refurbishment (watch out for nails and splinters)
TV system needs an upgrade after 6 years
Having major issues with mosquitos and sand fly's being resistant to fogging and causing issues for staff and guests BUT they are working on this actively with the resort biologists

Fantastic resort where, sadly, natural erosion along with some of the strongest winds have impacted the beaches.

Eco credentials have to be questioned when natural roofing is replaced by plastic and the threads from the plastic sandbags used to shore up the beaches breaks down and floats in the water.

Nevertheless, we would very happily return here and would seriously consider another vacation at this resort and definitely have a few days at the end of a break some distance away from Male.

Vakkaru is a beautiful island and the resort provided exemplary service, the best we have experienced anywhere in the Maldives and beyond. The villas are lovely, a good size and very tastefully decorated. Dining was good, however there was a lack of Maldivian cuisine in all outlets which we felt was disappointing. We also felt that in one of the restaurants there was a disproportionate number of supplemented items which limited dining choices in this particular outlet.
Overall we had a lovely holiday and would recommend Vakkaru to others.

We enjoyed our stay at Victoria for 2 and would recommend to others. We liked the fact that we were in a very quiet and adult only part of the resort, but had the ability to use the rest if we wanted to. On arrival, our room was very shaded from the sun (we had swim up rooms) so asked to be moved and they did as soon as another room was available. The resort did everything in their power to welcome us and accommodate our needs. There was plenty of room on the beach for everyone and whilst you can snorkel from the beach in the lagoon, the coral is mostly dead and the fish sparse. The whole resort is very clean and well maintained and the food and beverage selection was excellent.

Angelfish continue to give an exceptional service in all aspects of the booking process and support their clients even when on vacation when needed.

Komandoo is now 24 years old and is showing signs of wear.
It is supported by great Champions (staff) but the Island needs to update its rooms to keep up with new Island resorts coming on line.

One of the biggest areas the Island needs to desperately fix is the sea defences, as the Island is being damaged by erosion

It was fantastic to be back at TAB overall. The quality and attention from staff was fantastic once again (although if I was being hyper critical I don’t like being asked to ‘leave a review on TripAdviser). Sadly we felt the quality of overall food was lower than previous visits. I did hear they were below on staffing numbers and that the pre Covid chefs had left and now been replaced by locals instead of specialist nationals. As a golfer I really enjoyed golf facilities and the excellent costings compared with other hotel alternatives is a huge plus. Overall unbelievably we may probably still even return for a fourth!!
