This was a lovely resort - a real get away from it all island. The staff were all so friendly and could not do enough for us. If you want paradise Drift Thelu is the place to go, the snorkelling was amazing. The food the first half of the holiday was al a carte and close to Michelin quality, as only a few couples were there - then it changed to buffet which was ok but didn't quite match the earlier meals. Also as there were so few of us on the island they would only do the excursions if they could get enough people so sadly we missed out on the fishing trip, the upside to that though is that it felt like we had the island to ourselves. All in all an absolutely fantastic island, we found our paradise, thank you Angelfish for recommending it!

Always a complete pleasure to deal with Angelfish, they have fantastic knowledge and provide an exceptional service from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

The people at the resort could not have been more friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, from Iqbal and Adam the cleaners , Our waiter Hamdhaan, Milan, hostess Kencho, and chefs Andjula and Rohan, all of whom made our holiday a truly memorable experience. We will miss them all, they were the heart of the island.

The welcome and friendliness of the staff at Paradise cove was outstanding. We did ask if they could get a table tennis table for next time.
The spa at Tamassa were not consistent with their pricing and then after a treatment handed a bag of products over without us asking for it, then tried to charge us for it(checky)

Travel time aside I loved every moment of this trip, barefoot luxury at its finest, stunning views in every direction and the most impeccable friendly service. Thank you angelfish for helping me to find the perfect holiday for me and my Childers

All Qatar flights were late which led to us having to race across Doha airport in order to catch the connection. Very little information from them and very poor boarding procedures especially at Heathrow T5.

Angsana Ihuru was excellent (especially the snorkelling). The beach villa was superb and the staff were all lovely and very helpful. Food was also very good on the AI deal. Cocktails etc were a bit limited on the AI deal, but that's the same everywhere, and we had no complaints at all.
We chose the island because we wanted a small very quiet getaway with a good house reef. The reef was excellent and most of the time the island was very peaceful. Just what we wanted, but the trip was somewhat spoiled for 2 or 3 days days due to the arrival of a single large group of around 25 people, who were very noisy, intrusive, and dominated the whole island. I get the impression that the island's management did more to cater for these guy's needs than for the other (albeit very few) residents. For example, changing the nature of the food and putting on noisy karaoke sessions in the bar etc. It was very far from a calm and peaceful environment for those days.
We found out that the island is re-branding soon and aims to become more of a 'party' island catering more for groups etc than those wanting a totally quiet getaway. So we probably wouldnt return. Shame, because it's a beautiful place, the staff and food are excellent and it's the best house reef we've seen.

Thank you for organising the holiday for us - we had a wonderful time. Moofushi was superb, relaxed, the staff were lovely, very helpful. They added greatly to the atmosphere ,being friendly (just got this right) and always in good form and just couldn't do enough for the clients. The place had been relatively recently refurbished so we found everything to a good / high standard. The web pictures just didn't do it service, so much more lovely in reality. The food was better than expected (very good) and the service restaurant could compete with any michelin (1 star) . The house reef and snorkelling was fabulous, again the dive centre staff were super. Would recommend Moofushi to anyone if you are looking for an idyllic setting, relaxed barefoot luxury with fabulous staff, food and snorkelling. In fact my husband who isnt a beach person loved it so much and is saying he'd like to go every year!. We met alot of return guests some returning for the past 8-9 years.
Emirates - was fine but the business class offering has got a bit tired and not to the standard of Qatar.... our group in economy thought is was all good.

Downtown hotel in Dubai was terrific - great accommodation and location, service a little hit and miss, lots and lots of pleasant staff but perhaps lacking training. (We enjoyed visiting Dubai but it isnt for us hence no desire to return )

All in all a fantastic holiday

Makunudu recovering well after the pandemic.
We had another wonderful stay,nothing was too much trouble for all staff.New manager is really helpful with a great sense of humour.

Beautiful island with excellent dive centre and staff and a magnificent coral garden on the house reef.

This is our fourth time to Makunudu, and we’ll definitely be returning.
It has a natural charm and suits people who are just looking to relax.
