We had a wonderful visit to Drift for the 3rd time and would definitely return again .
As usual staff all helpful and friendly.
Our room boy was superb …he didn’t miss a beat .

Just a few minor niggles …..
Spa was definitely overpriced . The therapists in the spa are excellent and the massage I received was very good just priced too high .
On our previous visits , a complimentary daily snorkel excursion was included . It was slightly disappointing that this no longer happens as the house reef has not fully recovered yet . The only access channel to the reef is via the jetty and so quite limited at times . Saying that though it was great to see new corals slowly growing and a healthy amount of fish on the reef and in the lagoon .
The serene tranquillity of this lovely island can be totally disrupted at times with noisy Italians grouping together and disturbing others . We had to speak with Management about this as our neighbours were quite inconsiderate unfortunately. Thankfully it was discreetly dealt with but the Italians still didn’t quite get it !

Fantastic to see the beach outside our bungalow had been recovered . A sand pump was working elsewhere for a few hours now and then . Not the prettiest thing to look at but we didn’t object as it was doing a great job !

Overall a fantastic trip .

Ihuru was great - we stayed on the windward side - where the lagoon is not quite deep enough for swimming but the villa was so nice we preferred to stay and walk round as part of or exercise regime! The restaurant terrace at night is idyllic.
Makunudu -is more 'rustic' but the lagoon and snorkelling is fantastic. Just wished they relaxed their rule of you can't take drinks out of the bar even on AI ...

Staff all very friendly and helpful with excellent service. Nice to be recognised by some long serving staff from our previous visits. Food still very good, would recommend the in villa private BBQ. Amazing to see and snorkel with the Mantas on the trip this time. Although the beach villa accommodation is probably in need of an update (which they are slowly in the process of doing) it is still very comfortable, especially the beds and the sunset lagoon villa. Still a beautiful island, although due to the ongoing battle with erosion there are the sandbags in certain areas unfortunately. Lovely to see the brilliant work the ORP is doing at the turtle treatment and rehabilitation centre based there. What we particularly like about Coco Palm is the very friendly, laid back and relaxing environment which is perfect for us.

What a beautiful island. Heritance Aarah was the absolutely perfect hotel for our stay. Jo at AngelFish definitely got our brief exactly right. Our butler Pritchard was very attentive and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The beach villa was the right choice, being moments away from the seashore. We loved eating in the different hotel restaurants and enjoyed all the fish dishes, delicious fresh fruit and of course we enjoyed the all-inclusive alcoholic drinks! We particularly loved having cocktails in the skyline bar pre-dinner watching the sun set. The crystal clear sea water, beautiful fishes and gorgeous white soft sand really was as beautiful as all the pictures. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The island of Dighali is beautiful and lived up to more than our expectations. Such serenity, tranquillity and beauty.

Wonderful holiday

Spa was good but expensive. We transferred to a Water Villa second week, the beach villa is very tired. The staff were all 100%, there was a dredger trying to rebuild some of the beaches whilst we can fully understand the need for this the diesel ran all day so not so good. But that was the only issue.

We absolutely loved this place. Our 4th island and we would go back to any of them. Great house reef, best snorkeling we have seen for a while just off the beach. Enjoyed talking to the resident Marine Biologist and saw a turtle hatch. Used the sports hall for basketball and badminton. Gym equipment is a little dated and the tiles coming off the floor of the pool made it rather unsightly, but otherwise it was wonderful.

Ang Ihuru - The resort was exactly what I expected. The rooms were slightly better than anticipated. Do take 5 gang plugs - never enough sockets! The ground handling and transfers were exemplary - and we particularly appreciated a late transfer back to Male so we didn't have to wait too long for a seaplane. This made an excellent '1st' island choice and we were very pleased with it.
Emerald F - an exceptional island. Service was top notch. Food was fantastic - best buffet we have had in the Maldives. Sommelier service was a great addition to our food experience and great fun. A differentiator for this island. Villa was comfy and well appointed.
Lots of attention to detail through the whole resort. This company are on their game. We enjoyed snorkelling the reef - strong currents during our stay made this a challenge and kept us fit. I am sure that we will return here.

We enjoyed a lovely.peaceful break on Drift, an idyllic and tiny island. Small number of villas meant that there was rarely any sense of being crowded, tables were always available for meals, service at all times impeccable. All staff charming and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. BA flight fine but issues with food on both journeys resulted in a lack of choice. As we were in Premium Economy it was disappointing to see that the airline had run out of choices even before we had been served.
