Summary
Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar is perched on a canyon edge in the Al Hajar Mountains, 2,000 metres above sea level among the rocky contours of the Saiq Plateau. It is the highest five star resort in the Middle East and among the highest in the world.

As well as the stunning mountain and valley scenery, the resort offers a gateway to explore Oman's ancient forts, remote agricultural villages and souk markets and is only a 30 minute drive away from the ancient former capital city, Nizwa.
The accommodation blends true Arabian luxury with Anantara's signature touches, offering 115 rooms with either canyon, cliff or garden views.
The dining experience is designed to inspire, with exotic Arabic dishes, speciality teas, flavoured shisha, Italian dishes and Asian Cuisine available at the various restaurants and bars. The resort also features Oman's only Fort restaurant.
