Anantara....the pool area let this hotel down as the sun beds were uncomfortable and lacked decent shade. Pool service however was excellent with complimentary water and water melon on sticks handed out regularly with a smile. Drinks in the restaurant were ridiculously priced with a 250ml glass of wine costing over £30. Food was excellent however both breakfast buffet and evening buffet with a wide selection. Any dietary issues were also addressed as chef would cook you anything you asked for.
Chedi Muscat ......Nice rooms, service good but not always with a smile. Excellent comfy sunbeds all throughout the hotel complex with plenty of shade for this who don't like to sit in the direct sunlight and fry. Breakfast buffet excellent with wide choice of food. Evening meals no buffet but could be taken at any of the six a la carte restaurants. We tried every one and enjoyed them all.
All in all a wonderful holiday experiencing a different culture to our own. Visited a number of interesting places with excellent and very friendly guides. Faultless arrangements once again by Angelfish Travel.

Another wonderful holiday at Ihuru, now rebranded as Dhawa. We liked the new colourful decor but thought the 'Nest' was a waste of time. Uncomfortable wood blocks to sit on and very few people used it. Also, we felt that having one end of the bar as Reception was a mistake. The bar activity was distracting and unlike on previous visits there were times when the 'reception' was unoccupied. But the service in the bar was improved and the food and restaurant service was delightful.
Mention must be made of the unusual March weather. It was the worst we have ever encountered on our many visits, with strong winds, rough seas and intermittent rain on most days. Please have an immediate word with the Global Warming Officer to get this corrected! But with 31/32 degrees, it was still magical.

We were more than happy with the very personal service provided by Angelfish and have already shared our recommendations with some people we met on holiday. Thank you very much for 100% + service answering all our questions and providing any additional advice to ensure we had all the necessary information.

We enjoyed our stay but the island fell short of our expectations not all due to the resort. The house reef is quite difficult to snorkel, the south side is a very long swim to the reef, north side had strong currents throughout our stay. The fish life on the reef has been some of the best we have ever had on a house reef in the Maldives throughout our 8 previous visits. Beach was very clean with very little in the way of rubbish being washed up, probably due to the lack of other resorts in the area.Rooms are comfortable but showing signs of wear. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. The final leg home with British airways was poor compared to Qatar.

We had a terrific holiday and really enjoyed our return to the resort. Your service as ever was exemplary. In terms of the resort, although it was generally fantastic, I would say it has fallen back a little since our last visit; the tiling in our pool was so bad that they highlighted it when we moved in (you couldnt miss it) and, although they offered to move us, which we did, to a Water Villa, later in the week, you wouldn't expected this from a luxury resort...its a problem likely to get worse actually also as the tiling in the main pool is coming away also. Secondly, there has definitely been a shift towards it becoming more of a family resort...there were a lot of small children, which meant that public areas were often very noisy and not particularly relaxing, while the introduction of things like Karaoke nights cheapened it a little for me and meant that these nights were noisy and not particularly pleasant (most couples deserted on those nights). In terms of excursions, these were good, however we found the private fishing experience frustrating as they just wouldn't let us "have a go" and constantly took our lines off us to do the fishing themselves...which wasn't the point of course...it seemed they were more concerned that they caught some fish rather than we had a good, fun experience, trying to do so ourselves! I know this sounds a little negative, and we did have a wonderful time, with most of it being very relaxing, and their staff are fantastic, however for the reasons above, and mainly the increased number of children / noise, we probably wouldn't return again.

After a disappointing visit in 2022 where the senior management were non-existent and food quality poor, it was great to see the champions smile again. the new regime has clearly got the mojo back and we will gladly return. The excellent service by Angelfish simply added to a great holiday - thank you.

Kuda is a Good island for families. Only one bar, fabulous large swimming pool. Lovely rooms not so good outdoor shower. very close to residential island, so not the desert island feel.
The all-inclusive package was very basic. Overall, an eight for us.

We had a wonderful visit to Drift for the 3rd time and would definitely return again .
As usual staff all helpful and friendly.
Our room boy was superb …he didn’t miss a beat .

Just a few minor niggles …..
Spa was definitely overpriced . The therapists in the spa are excellent and the massage I received was very good just priced too high .
On our previous visits , a complimentary daily snorkel excursion was included . It was slightly disappointing that this no longer happens as the house reef has not fully recovered yet . The only access channel to the reef is via the jetty and so quite limited at times . Saying that though it was great to see new corals slowly growing and a healthy amount of fish on the reef and in the lagoon .
The serene tranquillity of this lovely island can be totally disrupted at times with noisy Italians grouping together and disturbing others . We had to speak with Management about this as our neighbours were quite inconsiderate unfortunately. Thankfully it was discreetly dealt with but the Italians still didn’t quite get it !

Fantastic to see the beach outside our bungalow had been recovered . A sand pump was working elsewhere for a few hours now and then . Not the prettiest thing to look at but we didn’t object as it was doing a great job !

Overall a fantastic trip .

Ihuru was great - we stayed on the windward side - where the lagoon is not quite deep enough for swimming but the villa was so nice we preferred to stay and walk round as part of or exercise regime! The restaurant terrace at night is idyllic.
Makunudu -is more 'rustic' but the lagoon and snorkelling is fantastic. Just wished they relaxed their rule of you can't take drinks out of the bar even on AI ...

Staff all very friendly and helpful with excellent service. Nice to be recognised by some long serving staff from our previous visits. Food still very good, would recommend the in villa private BBQ. Amazing to see and snorkel with the Mantas on the trip this time. Although the beach villa accommodation is probably in need of an update (which they are slowly in the process of doing) it is still very comfortable, especially the beds and the sunset lagoon villa. Still a beautiful island, although due to the ongoing battle with erosion there are the sandbags in certain areas unfortunately. Lovely to see the brilliant work the ORP is doing at the turtle treatment and rehabilitation centre based there. What we particularly like about Coco Palm is the very friendly, laid back and relaxing environment which is perfect for us.
