We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa as our first introduction to The Maldives. All the transfers worked seamlessly and we were looked after very well throughout.
The over water villa with pool was beautiful and all the staff without fail were welcoming and friendly and could not do enough for you.
Loved having the bikes to run around the island and the spa was beautiful with excellent treatments.
The food offerings were of a good standard - but not exceptional - although the special Indian meal that was made for us was superb and a very nice touch to offer this to us after we had mentioned loving Indian food.
We did not enjoy having to book for lunches as it felt too formal and restrictive rather than in keeping with the wider relaxed atmosphere - it didn't help being turned away when we did just turn up!
We feel that the sunset villas have a better view and get more sun and also seemed to be less impacted by the weather conditions such as the high winds which meant sitting on our terrace on some days was not ideal.
The only change we will make for our next trip will be to go adult only as this did feel more of a family location.

First visit & we were impressed. Only improvement could be that the main restaurant was a bit chaotic as the food selection counters & the live cooking stations were too close together & got very crowded causing people having to push through people queuing & generally everyone being in everyone's way at peak times.

High end “all inclusive “ laid back but sophistication boutique charm with quality food and drinks and outstanding responsive service.

Cannot fault this resort and it’s operation island is lovely and quietly sited south atoll.
Would return and 100% recommend to others
Would note as many resorts limited coral and significant bleaching but enough fish to make snorkelling worthwhile

My wife and I travel a lot and this is the first time we have score our holiday / travel a 10 out of 10! The service from Angelfish is truly outstanding and second to none. Their detailed package was exciting, relaxing, magical, special and the best holiday experience we have ever had. We will diffidently use them again, thank you.

Paradise from the moment we arrived. The whole experience has to be the best holiday I’ve ever been in. And angelfish travel has also been amazing.

Loved the bikes, couples massage, photo shoot and sunset fizz on the beach
Loved the Gala night - really really spectacular food and service.
The coffee bar at Cora Cora was much better than the beach coffee bar by Aqua.

Bedrooms are dated now. Very clean and well serviced but it is clear that they could use a refresh!
Service generally very good but as is the same in U.K. they struggle to attract and retain waiting staff.
Great resort our 15th visit and we will return in 2024

Excellent location fantastic sunsets, service from the dedicated team is top class. Rooms are comfortable and very clean . Food is good at both Morris Beef and La Casa. Beach is very good and swim up bar is excellent for a sundowner or two!!
