Once again, Clare did an amazing job finding us a fantastic resort! Overall, everything was wonderful, and I would absolutely recommend it. There were just two minor issues.

First, the à la carte restaurants were quite limited in availability. Unless you book before even arriving at the resort, securing a reservation can be challenging. We brought this up with the resort manager at a cocktail event, and he acknowledged the issue. Fortunately, he was able to get us a booking at the renowned Umi and mentioned that they are working on a solution, as many guests fail to show up for their reservations.

The second issue was the buffet selection—it could have been more varied, and a few additional vegetarian options would have been appreciated.

That said, it was still an incredible holiday, and we had a fantastic time!

Grand Park - enjoyed our visit, location of the reef villa superb - deck a little small and looked a bit tired but OK. Bed was extremely comfy. Food was great and location of the main restaurant was super - right next to the water. Service good. Marine biologists were really helpful and keen to share knowledge and progress on island reef.
Dusit - marked down the Meet and Greet as there was no one present at the Dusit deck when we transferred. A sign up saying 'with customer - back shortly' would have been helpful. We asked nearby operators to make sure there was someone expecting us. Once on the island we were very impressed with service and food. One of the best we have been to. Not a lot of beach due to erosion. Rooms large and comfy - a little dark (true Maldivian), villa quite noisy with waves crashing directly behind us, fine if not a light sleeper, deck looking a little tired but very functional. Greenery on island outstanding and beautiful. Great spa,. GM very visible. Nice vibe to island.
Our main issue was the weather - the poorest we have ever had in 11 visits. very windy for entire holiday bar 2 days. So couldn't snorkel first 3 days as red flagged. And didn't snorkel 3 days on second island as was pretty rough. Not huge amount of sun and 4 rainy days. We still had a great holiday but it has definitely made us think twice about booking so far in advance.

Virgin changed their schedule which made it a bit less convenient. Overall experience of BAs premium economy was better.
The island is nicely retro & quiet. Our combined transfer back to Male gave us 4.5 hours at the airport.
The fixed dinner menus were less enjoyable than the buffets.
Suggested to manager that on the welcome page they could include “please don’t feed or touch the wildlife.
Our corals take years to grow so please don’t stand on them. The dive base can give a free snorkelling lesson / introduction to help you avoid accidentally damaging our reef”
Overall a very relaxing time with daily finding new life underwater.

Yet again Clare put together a perfect itinerary for me, particularly being mindful of the fact that I was travelling alone. The support that Angelfish provide throughout the booking process, during the holiday and post holiday is absolutely unsurpassed. I have absolute confidence in the Angelfish team and would not dream of booking with anyone else. Thank you Clare and Jo.

What truly sets Emerald Maldives apart is its exceptional staff. They greeted us with genuine warmth and took care of us throughout our stay, making every moment special.

Our 3rd visit to the Maldives and booking with Jo and her team at Angelfish and wow, our dream holiday was simply fantastic from start to finish.

Every island we have been in the Maldives has been special, but we do feel like we have been totally spoilt with Emerald Faarufushi, what a stunning island with fantastic people.

Everything about this island is special, great people, great food, great diving & snorkelling, a dream holiday.

If we could give it 12/10 for all the areas we probably would but most definitely "desire to return" would get at least 12! We will most definitely be returning, next year hopefully!

An incredible stay! Hard to fault Angelfish or Milaidhoo on any element. Perfection all round.

Excellent quality resort, good food, friendly staff, beautiful green island, rooms tastefully blend with nature. A great experience

Overall a truly great holiday and golden anniversary celebration on a beautiful, tranquil island paradise.

Angelfish were amazing with their advice and service. The hotel was incredible, but the spa was being refurbished which we didn't know about until we arrived. No complimentary yoga/fitness sessions offered which would have added to the experience. Hotel's wine cellar was incredible, with very knowledgeable sommeliers.
Virgin premium economy wasn't very comfortable, would do a different airline business class next time. Overall a fantastic holiday.
