This is our second time booking with Angelfish Travel for a trip to the Maldives, and once again they’ve been absolutely excellent.
Everything was seamless and stress-free from start to finish.
When our naughty puppy Shirley ate our tickets, Angelfish quickly resent them the very next day — and even popped in some dog treats, which made us (and Shirley!) smile. It’s those thoughtful touches that make such a difference.
I’ve recommended them to friends and will continue to do so, hopefully we’ll be lucky enough to return to the Maldives again one day. We wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to book with Angelfish Travel again.
Highly recommended!
Would recommend Anglefish Travel for all your holiday requirements ,as they go above and beyond to make your special holiday just fabulous.
We have been to Drift 4 times in the last 6 years and just enjoy seeing the staff with their smiling faces as we jump on shore , knowing we will be well looked after for our stay.
They make us feel so special when there, from the reception ,restaurant ,house keeping ,dive guys ,boat boys and even the grounds guys are up for a laugh.
Milhaidoo was the best of all the islands in the Maldives we have visited, and the most memorable and fabulous holiday we have enjoyed in a while. Aside from being the most beautiful place the service was outstanding, warm, friendly, proactive and professional, we really could not fault anything about the island and if we can afford it definitely want to return.
Thank you to Angelfish for all your help on route
Amazing service once again from
Angelfish and your agents in the Maldives, we would only every book with you guys due to the excellent level of service and confidence we have in you and your agents.
The BA flights were great as direct however the service and comfort was not as good as with Emirates however the whole direct flight thing has its advantages.
The island was excellent and accommodation was of a very good standard.
I do think the service was not quite as good as we have experienced before and I am sceptical around the fact that we were all inclusive had an impact as we often had to ask for drinks in the restaurant.
Overall though we had an amazing holiday and would still return there.
Thanks again for everything we will be in touch soon for next year…
Lake Burunge is a very pretty hotel, has great rooms. Breakfast was very nice.
Staff were friendly but there was often a language barrier and couldn't speak English very well. Dinner was sometimes mediocre.
Eileen's trees: Pretty looking resort. Food (breakfast and especially dinner) were excellent, the best of the trip by far and had a very different menu every night. Rooms and showers were decent but not spectacular. Wifi only around reception. Staff were very friendly and spoke English well. Decorated our room nicely for the honeymoon
Osinon lodge: beautiful location right in the heart of the Serengeti. Hearing lions roaring every night was exciting, seeing hyena, zebra, wildebeest around the camp was super cool. Staff were very welcoming, dinners were excellent and varied, provided nice lunch in lunch boxes but breakfast was a bit average. Decorated our room for the honeymoon every day, room and showers were nice. Felt really comfortable and safe even with all the wild animals around us!
Second time at Lux South - which the whole family voted was the best of the three Maldives resorts we had been to. Staff are amazing and the food is very good and a lot of variety and choice. Its a large island so you never feel it is cramped and for some reason the beaches are always deserted!!! Would go back in a heartbeat :) As ever, big thank to Jo, Clare and team at Angelfish for making the organisation both pre and post the holiday seamless.
Coco Palm D K is a lovely resort and it was our second visit. Beautiful island, great food and very friendly staff. If you like a traditional Maldivian island with no news and no shoes then this is the one for you.
Moofushi was a truly wonderful and memorable holiday which lived up to all our expectations. As always, Angelfish guided us every step of the way and, Clare, we cannot thank you enough for helping us choose this little piece of paradise. We wondered with so many 5 star reviews if Moofushi can live up to all the hype. However it more than succeeds due in large part to its natural beauty, understated luxury, excellent all-inclusive package and super-tasty food offerings. However what sets it apart are their truly exceptional staff whose welcome, warmth, dedication and genuine passion to make the guest experience a memorable one sets Moofushi apart from any othjer resort/hotel we have visited. They are stars and Constance should be very proud to have staff working so diligently on their behalf. Finally, we would absolutely recommend Moofushi to any potential Angelfish client who desires a luxury break without the stuffiness that can sometimes accompany it.
Gili:
Love the room/ food/ people and island.
Snorkelling would be the only reason I would maybe consider an alternative.
Komandoo:
Very good value.
Relaxed feel.
Excellent snorkelling
Food good standard buffet
Water villas looking a little tired and could do with a refurbishment (mainly the bathroom)
This was our 8th visit to the Maldives, having been to various islands including Soneva Fushi and Komandoo previously, and our 1st time at Constance Moofushi. Clare and the team at Angelfish Travel are extremely knowledgeable on the Maldives, having personally visited many of the islands themselves, and provided us with an excellent service giving us advice and help on choosing a new island to visit. Constance Moofushi was a delight and did not disappoint. The island had a wonderful 'Robinson Crusoe' rustic charm to it with a perfect relaxed vibe. We stayed for 14 nights in a Senior Water Villa which was spacious, light and airy with lovely rustic ocean themed decor. Dining was great in the Manta Ray restaurant with many choices of food, BBQ and daily international themed cuisine. The Totem Bar was also a delight having its own separate food menu with a relaxed vibe. We also dined twice in the Alizee Restaurant which was very nice. Service and staff were lovely and very attentive throughout the resort. The Cristal All Inclusive package was superb and covered the vast majority of our food and drink (including a choice of a substantial number of quality wines recommended by the sommeliers to go with our meals). The villa mini bar fridge was also included with one daily replenishment. We went on a number of different excursions, mostly snorkelling, and were lucky enough to swim with Whale Sharks, Turtles, Reef Sharks to name but a few and had a particularly marvellous experience with a large group of Manta Rays in relatively shallow water. The Blue Tribe dive centre team on Moofushi were great organizing and guiding these trips. The 'House' reef itself was also very good with a few resident turtles, small reef sharks, eagle rays and lots more besides. We were so impressed with Moofushi that we cannot wait to return to the island same time next year. Thank you Angelfish Travel for finding us this wonderful little piece of paradise.
