Drinks service a bit slow outside of bar, but otherwise, paradise!

Glad I took advice from Angelfish who picked the right choice for my criteria and budget. Reethi Beach was perfect, very laid back and casual and the snorkeling is fantastic. Would consider seaplane transfer next time to save a few hours hanging around in Male but return journey was seamless. Emirates ran out of choice of food on 3 flights which wasn't impressive, neither was the cold coffee they served nor the reaction when asked nicely for a replacement. But hey, we were "only" Economy :) Went half board at Reethi which was perfectly adequate for us and , might even consider B&B next time. Deluxe Villa gorgeous but all accommodation looked great. Wish I could go back tomorrow!!!

On the whole, a fantastic first visit to the Maldives. Thanks so much to the angelfish team for short listing coco palm as one of our options; this island suited us perfectly, spot on.
All the staff were fantastic, warm, friendly, and always with a welcoming smile, even the man who came round to our villa sun beds everyday with a wheelbarrow full of coconuts, "coconut"? he would ask and then whittle the top off with his machete, stick in a straw and we were set for the day.
Unfortunately, we had a couple of things that could have been better;
Beach bbq. I was hoping for a romantic evening under the stars with some great food. The food was, as with the whole holiday, fantastic, unfortunately, we were sat between two families with small children who were running around most of the time, needless to say, not the evening we had hoped for.
Mosquito fogging. I understand that this has to be done for the benefit of the guests, however, with a 2 stroke petrol engine revving away at 6:30 every morning outside of the villa, this wasn't the way we would have chosen to be woken.
A couple of small and relatively trivial blips on an otherwise unforgettable trip and will hopefully return one day.

We have arrived at Amari Havodda after a long chain of flights(3)-every went well. We were welcome by the stuff and fast to our villa accompanied.
After that it was just pure joy. The weather, the water, the underwater world, the beach were as if just for us. We thought sometimes that we were alone on the island. And that is what we had searched for.
For us it was an awesome holiday. Last but not least many thanks to Angelfish for everything(real profi)

Milaidhoo is a fantastic resort. Made by the staff who were unfailingly helpful, friendly and above all proud of what they have achieved at this new resort.

Perfect low key relaxed 'no shoes' hotel and very good value for money. Excellent close reef, with friendly and helpful staff, who can't do enough for you.

Milaidhoo Island, is stunning there is no other way to describe it, first class service from the moment we arrived. This is the 4th island we have been to and it beats the others hands down. We will be returning.
