Client Testimonials
Out of the islands we have visited Moofushi is by far our favourite and it's all thanks to Clare at Angelfish for arranging it for us.
Thoughwe really enjoyed our 2 week holiday here, there were some things that would deter us from returning:
Lack of non-water facilities such as tennis
Too many children
Island wasn't logistically set out for us to be able to walk around
Consistency with service/drinks from the bar wasn't there
Island took no notice of anniversary note on the booking or requested position, i.e. villa
Service from one staff member in the restaurant (live station grill and curry) wasn't good, was made to feel like an inconvenience for asking for food to be cooked to how I liked it
We'd highly recommend OBLU but won't return ourselves.
We can't thank Angelfish enough for their pre/during/post travel service. We will definitely be using them for future holiday bookings and will recommend to others.
Constance Halaveli was wonderful in every way. I wanted to make a special note of the chef. I told them I preferred a vegan diet, and they made a special menu for me that I could choose from for the entire time at the resort. The chef would come out each meal to make sure the food was what I wanted. Over the top excellence!!!
Beautiful
Loved the island and the staff were very relaxed and happy which makes for a superb holiday
Room and patio was fairly large and there was plenty of storage
Did not feel claustrophobic
Just one thing that "I" did not like - rather have steps into the sea from the water bungalow rather than a ladder (at least they were wood)
We had a lovely holiday in Angaga, the island was small and personal. They upgraded us to a water bungalow which was lovely.
The diving was very good very impressed with the dive centre.
The staff were lovely and friendly.
The flights with Emirates were disappointing as both of our TV's did not work on the way out and it took 1 and half hours to resolve the issue, when one of us had to move seats, the food on the plane they gave us a menu to choose but when they arived with the food there was no choice as only one option was left!
Given the criteria I provided, Jo suggested Drift thelu veliga and it turned out to be the perfect resort for us. This was our seventh visit to the Maldives and Drift exceeded our expectations on all levels, becoming our favourite resort to date. I would like to thank you all at angelfish for providing an excellent service and will definitely recommend and use your services in the future.
Kind regards
Joanne Davies
Had a fab time at Angsana Ihuru...great house reef. Stayed a Cape Weligama in Sri Lanka, with amazing accommodation and service, but prefer the Maldives. Couple of minor points 1) Total confusion with Sri Lankan Airlines when boarding business class in Columbo and Male. 2) No prior contact when returning to T3 from Tristar re. the pick up vehicle.
Fabulous holiday - the resort really tries to make guest's stays special. The only disappointment was the buffet - this really didn't measure up to other hotels of this level - food wasn't always refilled and not enough live cooking stations. Very few staff on hand. This didn't spoil our holiday as we were able to eat at the al a carte restaurants very frequently which were very good - especially Jing.
The house reef is excellent. All staff very welcoming & helpful. Sadly a lot of building work is taking place on a new bridge at Male & that together with building work on a couple of new reclaimed islands spoils the 'remoteness' & 'dark skies' that you expect in The Maldives. The balance between wanting a speedboat transfer island & the associated drawback of proximity to Male is tricky !
Staff amazing superior water villa good, beach good bar good
