Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island

Platte Island lies 130km south of Mahé, and earned its name as a nod to its unique flat topography. This low-lying, forested sand cay stretches only 1300m north to south and features expansive seagrass meadows, a haven for sea turtles, rays, and reef and lemon sharks.


The resort features 50 pool villas and six food and drink venues. All villas are set back from the shoreline, and feature expansive gardens to minimize noise and light pollution.
