Trou Aux Cerfs

Trou aux Cerfs is a dormant (but not extinct) volcano located in the centre of Mauritius near the town of Curepipe.

The crater is approximately 605m above sea level, with dense vegetation surrounding its diameter of 300m. The lake is said to be 100m deep.

The crater is a popular place for walkers and joggers and offers great panoramic views from the top.
