The Melheim Resort is situated on top of one of Beragala’s beautiful mountains, in proximity to local attractions such as the Diyaluma and Bambarakanda waterfalls.

The views are stunning, particularly in the evening, and the bordering forest is home to a variety of bird species and provides many nature trails and treks for more adventurous guests. Those who just prefer a gentle evening stroll will not be disappointed with the scenic landscape.

The hotel has only nine luxuriously appointed rooms, each with its own private deck offering wonderful mountain views, ensuite bathrooms and satellite TV.

There are many other places of interest within 30-90 minutes of the hotel, including Samanala Wewa Dam Project (30 minutes), Dowa Temple (45 minutes) and the rock carvings at Buduruwagala (60 minutes) – excursions can be arranged at the hotel.
