"Some of the boxes not ticked as we did not use them. We had 3 weeks of total paradise BRILLIANT."

"Coco Bodu Hithi is really improving its quality of dining with a new Exec chef. Friendly service, good sized villas with a really nice pool. Loads of watersports, and good tennis court, with plenty to see on the house reef.

Milaidhoo may be a relatively new resort, but already one of the best. Service and dining are exceptional, Compass Bar is a great place to relax, and easy access to the reef for snorkelling. Villas are fabulous. Gourmet plan is great value and a 'no-brainer'!"

"I can not recommend Angelfish travel more highly, their knowledge and expertise of resorts in the Maldives is exceptional, the support and advice provided pre and post booking was outstanding, as is the level of customer support and their way of treating their customers as individuals rather than numbers on a balance sheet really sets the bar high.

Coco Bodu Hithi is a beautiful resort in fabulous surroundings that is enhanced by the superb levels of care provided by their staff. Without exception they go over and above to ensure that all of their guests are looked after and have the best possible time.

The resort is stunning, the villas amazing, the snorkelling out of this world, the house reef is fabulous, we were overjoyed to see turtles, reef sharks and an amazing array of fish, including sharks and trigger fish and to be given the opportunity to sponsor a turtle on the house reef to support the resorts turtle conservation and protection projects within the Maldives.

We loved the excursions we did so much that we rebooked the line fishing trip and went for a scond time and we're thrilled to see large rays swimming beneath our dhoni, snorkelling with the resorts marine biologist was great, her knowledge of the local reefs and turtle population meant that we saw 7 turtles in their own undisturbed and protected environment.

If you want a luxury holiday organised by experts, angelfish travel and Coco Bodu hithi have our highest recommendation , we had a fantastic two weeks and will most definitely return to Bodu Hithi with the assistance of Angelfish travel. "

"We went to unwind in a peaceful environment and Makanudu was perfect due to tranquility, stunning sea view, good food and drinks, friendly attentive staff and low occupancy. Not an Island you can walk around like some larger resorts and not much beach left at high tide. Liked the traditional beach villa with solid furnishings, although room guy kept a low profile and only appeared once a day so you have to get used to sand everywhere. Only had two large cockroaches in the room in 10 days, and saw no ants or mosquitoes although some ladies were comparing bite marks from something. Lots of crabs outside, and cute birds which are almost tame ( large storks are a feature at the restaurant as staff feed them fish ). Weather appears to be a gamble, very humid, then windy for our last few days which gave some respite in the restaurant but caused waves for snorkelling. We heard the weather pattern in the Maldives has shifted forward two months which should have been ideal for us, then someone else said the monsoon weather had arrived early! Boat ride back to the airport was considerably rough and choppy. Weather is beyond the control of the resorts but is still a concern when planning to return as we all hope for the best conditions for our outlay. "

"Perfect location for totally unwinding. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. Cleanliness in our villa and everywhere around the island was faultless. Going the extra mile seemed to be second nature to all those concerned in ensuring that guests had the best possible experience at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu. A low score has been given for the airline's food which was extremely poor and not very well organised. As an example, there was no choice for one meal which happened to be breakfast, other than fish curry! The reason given for this was that the airline had used up the egg choice on the inbound flight to Male so by the time we were being served breakfast on our flight, there was only the fish choice left. Additionally, we were told that orange juice had ran out. One of the vegan meals was just a soggy mess of vegetables in a baguette."

"Definitely the best yet for us, a wonderful experience. Very welcoming team on Ihuru, nothing was too much trouble we felt extremely well looked after and the little touches like the music and burner at turndown and the gifts made it really special. The reef was definitely the best we have seen in the Maldives and very easy to snorkel. We loved it and we'll definitely be back! Thank you for making it happen!"

"Oblu/Helengeli
A good island, though felt a bit 'resort-y'; but the facilities were good and we really liked the little coffee shop. The AI was excellent with a good selection of wine and an extensive buffet. (Even my husband on a restrictive diet had no problems). The music in the bar was a little intrusive for us and i think it would benefit from more outdoor seating for the evenings.

The snorkelling was excellent and this is what would really draw us back to the island; the coral is not good, but there is an abundance of fish - we saw turtles, sharks and octopuses every day.

Angsana Ihuru
I small classy resort with table service for dinner most evenings. The service was excellent and the music in the bar was set at a level where it never felt intrusive. there is also plenty of outside seating over the water and, even though the island was fully booked when we were there, it never felt busy.

As with many islands the coral has suffered recently, but it was obvious that a lot was being done to ameliorate this and you can see excellent recovery already. There is a great assortment of life including black and white tip sharks, octopuses, turtles and even cuttlefish.

The Banyon tree (it's sister island) is only a few minutes boat ride away and you are free to go across and use most of the facilities there, so you almost get two islands/reefs for the price of one. "
