Veligandu Maldives Resort Island

Veligandu Maldives Resort Island is characterized by its distinctive long sandbank and verdant foliage as well as a vibrant house reef. At approximately 600 metres in length and 150 metres in width, the island covers around 22 acres (9 hectares) and is encircled by a picturesque lagoon. The island is reached by a short 20-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport.

Accommodation

The resort offers 100 villas, both on land and overwater. Each villa is adorned with tropical décor and features a king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, sitting area, stocked minibar, tea/coffee facilities, espresso machine, IDD telephone, and a 55 or 65-inch smart TV with IPTV. Guests also have free Wi-Fi, a personal safe, and an enclosed or partially open-air bathroom with rain shower, double sinks, bath accessories, hairdryer, and bathrobes. Nightly turndown service is provided, along with complimentary use of chaise lounges and beach towels.
