Our Opinion
A small, plantation style resort with elegance and sophistication. Located in a private estate with scenery and surrounds that are breathtaking. The beach is extensive and overlooks the Anse Gouvernement Bay. Flowers and coconut trees are apparent throughout the resort. The accommodation and facilities are provided to a high standard. Excellent resort for couples – guests need to be aware that some of the rooms are located on a hillside which does involve a hill climb back and forth to the rooms, restaurants and beach. Given this, we would suggest it is not recommended for those with small children.

Summary
Set in an amphitheatre of coconut trees and flowers in a vast private estate, hotel L’Archipel has 30 spacious rooms and suites all with veranda and panoramic ocean views. Overlooking the beautiful bay of Anse Gouvernement this is a truly breathtaking resort.

DINING

La Gigolette

This restaurant situated on the beach serves breakfast and a la carte lunches. Weather permitting, buffets and barbecues are also served on selected evenings.

The main restaurant, La Feuille d'Or is well known for its’ gourmet dishes and a la carte menu.

Between the swimming pool and the restaurant, is the bar & cocktail lounge of l'Archipel, which is a friendly meeting place. There is also a beach bar.

Shorts are not allowed in the Cocktail Lounge and Bar after 7.00p.m. and in the restaurants at dinner time.

ENTERTAINMENT

Live music is played twice weekly in the evenings.

ACTIVITIES

Fishing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and snorkelling can be arranged by the hotel.

Praslin's only Casino is a ten minute walk away from the hotel.
