Former three-star Ranveli Island Resort has been acquired by Hong Kong based Asia Prestige Management and will be rebranded as Zazz Island Resort.
Due to open in Q2 2019 the resort will be aiming to cater for young adults in a fun atmosphere.
The island is based in the South Ari Atoll, about 30 minutes by seaplane from Male.
