Our Opinion
Its position at the gateway of the famous Tanzanian Northern Safari Circuit makes this Lodge a good place to start your trip, The resort is located in Arusha, about an hours drive from Kilimanjaro airport and set on the shores of Lake Duluti and close to Mount Meru.
The Lodge is made up of 42 rooms in the colonial style and set in beautiful gardens with colourful banks of Bougainvillea.
The Lodge offers a wide range of activities including guided nature and bird walks, coffee farm tours and for the more energetic, mountain biking, canoeing, trekking and mountain climbing.

Summary
The Lodge is 20km from Arusha and 60km from the airport at Kilimanjaro. It is set amid coffee plantations on the shores of Lake Duluti against the backdrop of Mount Meru. The main area, including reception, lounge, bar and restaurant are housed in a colonial styled stone built mansion. The theme continues in the 42 country style rooms, featuring marble bathrooms and double French doors that lead out into the gardens.

The Lodge stands at the gateway to the famous Tanzanian Northern Circuit and offers a range of activities including walking, mountain biking, canoeing and trips to nearby Arusha and Mount Meru National Parks.
