Talalla Retreat

Talalla Retreat is a boutique hotel and yoga retreat overlooking a picture-postcard beach fringed by coconut palms, and a turquoise sea dotted with brightly coloured fishing boats. It is located at the southern tip of Sri Lanka, beside the village of Gandara.

It has 32 spacious, elegantly designed rooms that include open air marble bathrooms and private patios or balconies. The retreat also has a 20m freshwater lap pool, two custom-built yoga pavillions, spa facilities, an open-air restaurant and Wi-Fi internet.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of activities including yoga and surfing. Talalla is located near one of Sri Lanka's most consistent surfing beach breaks and the hotel offers both private tuition and great surfing packages. There is also a resident yoga teacher throughout the year to host daily classes.
